Savile Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser 4.6 5 27 27
LOVE THIS FAUCET!!! I absolutely love this faucet!! It works great and is beautiful! The best advice I received when remodeling my kitchen was "Don't skimp on the faucet"!!! I would recommend (and have recommended) this faucet to anyone looking for a faucet! Love, love, love it!! Thanks, Delta! June 27, 2012
Great Finish We installed this faucet about 6 months ago and we love it. the finish is fantastic, and the pull down feature is so much better than having the seperate sprayer on the side. We can switch from "stream" of water to a "shower" of water. The arc of the spout allows for filling up tall things including vases much easier and faster. Plus if you have something that needs to "soak" but is too big for the bottom of the sink you can pull the spout down and it will easily reach an area beside the sink with out spraying down the kitchen. well worth the money. July 8, 2012
Good decision After reading lots of reviews I choose the Delta Savile. It looks so much better in real life than online. I love the strong magnate to hold it in place while not in use. I actually saw some other brands in the stores and they already were sagging. This is a strong magnate that will last. It also comes with a soap/lotion dispenser with is great for having less clutter on the sink. The color is great and the style is sleek and classic. All in all, very good quality with a great warranty, if you will need it. July 7, 2012
Fabulous!!! Just installed this model to replace a broken Moen single-hole, single-pull kitchen faucet. This Delta faucet is part of the Delta DST (Diamond Seal Technology) series of faucets, which are fantastic. Go to the Delta web site to watch their video on why DST is better and lasts 10x longer than the industry standard. I was mainly sold on the ease of installation of their DST faucets -- I've never done something like this before, and the installation went as smoothly as their installation video on their web site said it would. In fact, the hardest part of the project was removing the old Moen faucet and soap dispenser! They even provide a socket tool to tighten the nut that holds the faucet down from the bottom. The only tool you need to supply to install this faucet is a small adjustable wrench (small to fit in tight spaces under your counter). This faucet, like all Delta DST faucets, comes with extra long water lines so no extension lines are needed. Very, very smartly designed. The high arc of the spout is a nice change, too, from our broken Moen, and the pull-out nozzle works like a charm. This faucet comes with a LIFETIME warranty. I am completely sold on Delta; I will never buy a Moen anything. July 7, 2012
Good looking faucet with Delta Quality We upgraded our stainless steel sink to a black granite/resin sink (9 inch deep) and upgraded the faucet to the Savile pull down model on display at Lowes. Have had positive experience with other Delta products. This faucet had the magnetic catch which we wanted and included the soap dispenser. After reading various reviews on this site, as well as another site, realized we had the option to move the lever to either side at installation. Was a bit of a quandry as I am right handed and my spouse is left handed. Also we had to fit in an air gap and the soap dispenser on the sink. But all worked out and we like how it functions. The longer hose helps get to all areas of the sink. We are still configuring the storage area under the sink as the longer hose has a tendency to periodically get snagged on the under sink shelving. (Not the faucet's fault!) Like the convenience of the button to shift between spray and "regular". Color is an absolute match with some upgraded cabinet knobs I bought prior to the purchase of the faucet. Purchased a metal air gap cap from another source, but a perfect match to the faucet. Very pleased with appearance and operation. We had this professionally installed. The installer appeared to have no challenges with the installation instructions or process. October 22, 2012
Great Product Deltas reputation lead us to purchasing this faucet and we certainly were not disappointed. Style, function and reliability all wrapped up in a great price. The only negative ting I have to say is that the installation was a four out of five. But understanding that Delta must market their product for various applications, I soon had it in and working with little resentment. Other then this, we are thrilled.. February 24, 2013
This product looks great. I needed to replace a leaking kitchen faucet and decided to purchase this delta faucet for it's good looks and durability. I especially liked the magnet at the end of the sprayer head to keep it in place at all times. I am looking forward to years and years of trouble free use. Thanks Delta! January 4, 2013
Delta Kitchen Faucet We put in all new cabinets and we purchased a Delta Faucet. It was very easy to install and has an excellent warranty. Besides looking beautiful it works beautiful. June 18, 2012

Can I make an adjustment to the sprayer assembly spray/non-spray lever.

All of a sudden, while in use, the flow volume minimized quite a bit. I used the tool, removed and cleaned the "screen" and it didn't help. I then removed the sprayer assembly and the flow through the hose without the assembly was "normal". The lever feels like it's restricted a little when moved into the non-spray position. This unit was installed just 9 months ago and our household has 2 retired residents who don't really use the faucet often..........and really don't move the lever to spray even once a week. In other words, the faucet and lever get far less than "normal" wear and tear.

Easy return of the faucet head

hello,
I put in this beautiful faucet and it works fine. However, when
we pull out the faucet head it does not return back when released. We have to push it back until the magnets are very close to each other to pull it in.
Is this the way that is suppose to work or should it be able to return back on its own?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 19949-RBSD-DST does have the MagnaTite docking system so it should be aligning your faucet back into place. It is not designed to "pull" your wand back into place. We recommend that you make sure that your weight has been installed on the hose assembly. This will also help pull your wand back into the spout.

Answer:
I don't know if there is a plug or not, but if you use the plate (long metal piece) it may cover the hole. I actually have 3 soap dispensers in my kitchen (hand soap, dish soap and hand lotion), so I am wondering why you would not want to use the soap dispenser. It takes bottles off the counter tops and makes for a more tidy appearance. Sorry, I am not much help.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 19949-SSSD-DST does include a soap dispenser with the faucet but it is not necessary to the operation of the faucet. Delta Faucet does not manufacture hole covers for your sink but they are out there. Check with your local retailer or wholesaler for the hole covers.

Is there a way to increase the water pressure with this faucet?

We have great water pressure in the rest of our house and it was good with the old faucet. Since installing this faucet the water pressure isn't good. What's the point of having the sprayer if the pressure isn't hard enough to remove gunk from dishes? Otherwise we love the overall look and performance of the faucet so far.

Thank you for your question. This faucet is able to be installed with a long escutcheon plate or as a single hole with a smaller escutcheon plate. The smaller escutcheon plate for a single hole installation is model # RP63197SS. If you no longer have this part, it may be ordered and purchased from you local retailer or wholesaler.

I believe you should be able to. I just installed it without the base piece. If you don't have the original hardware that came with it for installing without the base plate I believe you'd need this piece: http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp63197rb.html

I would confirm with customer service though. Good Luck.

Ring magnet was hanging loose on hose, didn't seem to be attached to anything, tried sliding to both ends, seems to lock in where water comes out( source of water , not faucet but wall...beginning of hose) now it's reversed polarized, instead of attracting they are repelling and faucet just hangs there.

Answer:
We figured it out. It turns out that the polarity of the ring magnets in the retractable hose head and the end of the downspout will repel if the hose head is twisted. To fix it simply turn the head about 90 degrees at the end of the hose until the faucet downspout and head attract again.

Thank you for your posts. If you try to put the sprayer back into the spout sideways, the magnets are designed to repel. The toggle switch needs to be pointing towards the back of the faucet for the magnets to work correctly.

Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean® soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. You may also use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and cold water to release the mineral deposits.
