Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THIS FAUCET!!! I absolutely love this faucet!! It works great and is beautiful! The best advice I received when remodeling my kitchen was "Don't skimp on the faucet"!!! I would recommend (and have recommended) this faucet to anyone looking for a faucet! Love, love, love it!! Thanks, Delta! June 27, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent design love this faucet, seems like you are in five star hotel room or in custom made designer home. love to do the dishes over and over again. the only problem i have so far is the soap dispenser, by keep filling the dispenser again and again the head has come apart and becomes difficult to pull out for the refill. it does have life time warranty as per the box, so i am gonna see if the company is gonna replace that. September 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good decision After reading lots of reviews I choose the Delta Savile. It looks so much better in real life than online. I love the strong magnate to hold it in place while not in use. I actually saw some other brands in the stores and they already were sagging. This is a strong magnate that will last. It also comes with a soap/lotion dispenser with is great for having less clutter on the sink. The color is great and the style is sleek and classic. All in all, very good quality with a great warranty, if you will need it. July 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Finish We installed this faucet about 6 months ago and we love it. the finish is fantastic, and the pull down feature is so much better than having the seperate sprayer on the side. We can switch from "stream" of water to a "shower" of water. The arc of the spout allows for filling up tall things including vases much easier and faster. Plus if you have something that needs to "soak" but is too big for the bottom of the sink you can pull the spout down and it will easily reach an area beside the sink with out spraying down the kitchen. well worth the money. July 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Faucet Love everything about it except one thing. When you pull the head of the faucet out to use as a sprayer to fill up the coffee maker which is higher than where the faucet sits it pinches off the water pressure unless you take your other hand and pull the flexible tube down more from the faucet. This is more of a problem with the design for any manufacturer of this type of product and is why I gave the design 4 out of 5 stars but still a great faucet once you get use to the hot and cold functions. July 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous!!! Just installed this model to replace a broken Moen single-hole, single-pull kitchen faucet. This Delta faucet is part of the Delta DST (Diamond Seal Technology) series of faucets, which are fantastic. Go to the Delta web site to watch their video on why DST is better and lasts 10x longer than the industry standard. I was mainly sold on the ease of installation of their DST faucets -- I've never done something like this before, and the installation went as smoothly as their installation video on their web site said it would. In fact, the hardest part of the project was removing the old Moen faucet and soap dispenser! They even provide a socket tool to tighten the nut that holds the faucet down from the bottom. The only tool you need to supply to install this faucet is a small adjustable wrench (small to fit in tight spaces under your counter). This faucet, like all Delta DST faucets, comes with extra long water lines so no extension lines are needed. Very, very smartly designed. The high arc of the spout is a nice change, too, from our broken Moen, and the pull-out nozzle works like a charm. This faucet comes with a LIFETIME warranty. I am completely sold on Delta; I will never buy a Moen anything. July 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful, with a few caveats Looks: This is a beautiful faucet and changed the entire look of our kitchen. Installation was challenging for my husband, who is fairly handy. We almost had to call a plumber, but he got it. Performance: You have to be careful to turn it off in the correct position, or it drips a little. Also, the sprayer doesn't retract automatically once extended; you have to sort of feed it back in. I don't use the sprayer too often, so it's not a big problem. I like the soap dispenser. We've only had it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on long-term performance. May 21, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Leak from base of handle. The unit as a whole was a nice piece. We noticed after a couple of days that there was water accumulating at the base of the unit. After watching it a few days and had a plummer out to check our pipes and the assembly it was determined that there was a leak from the base of the handle itself. We returned the unit. We ended up with a similar unit but from Moen. From date of installation, now 2 1/2 weeks, we've had NO leaks. Sorry, I did like Delta's style a bit more. January 13, 2014

If I but a savile, can I install it with one hole or does it have to have two?

I am installing new granite countertops and I can drill any number of holes. I am undecided whether or not to install the soap dispenser.

I didn't install the soap dispenser - so you only need 1 hole if you don't want it. It's not an integral part of the faucet.

Answer:
We installed ours with one hole, and it looks very nice. We didn't install the soap dispenser, because those ALWAYS end up breaking over time, and then we'd have a permanent hole in our granite. What would we do then? I'm glad we just did the one hole.

Here's another thought... I saw the soap dispensers on eBay for $15 or $20. I guess you could sell the one you have if you don't install it. OR, if you do install it, and it breaks, you can always buy a new one for fairly cheap. Of course, when all the ones that match are gone, then what? You could buy one that doesn't match! Haha!

Best wishes with your decision.

Low water flow

I have a Delta model 19949-DST kitchen facet. It has very low water flow and it is not caused by the head of the facet the sprayer head has been cleaned repeatedly as Delta has recommended. The water flow from the pipe is adequate so it has to be between the water pipe connection to the sprayer head. What do you recommend?

Answer:
Hi Rich, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your model 19949-SSSD-DST faucet. You can remove the wand and turn the faucet on to flush the lines. Pull out the RP50587 valve assembly and make sure that it is free of any debris or mineral build up. As a final step unscrew the supply lines from the shut off valves under the sink after you have turned off the water supply. Make sure that they are clean and free of debris and that nothing is blocking the flow of water out of the shut offs themselves. Here is a link to the parts breakdown of your faucet to help with the repair.

Do you have a taller arch that can be used with the savile kitchen faucet? We have the bronze finish.

Our sink is about an inch below the counter surface. Two or more inches taller would make a big difference in our kitchen. Thank you.

After final mounting, the maximum height from the top of counter or sink top, to the outside top of spout is exactly 15 inches. If you only have a 10 inch clearance from sink top to cabinet, any tall spout faucet may not be an option.

Is there any way to adjust the faucet so it is easier to find the warm water setting?

It seems like there is only a tiny "sweet spot" to get warm water. Move it a little bit one way or the other, and it is either extremely hot or cold.

What is the faucet clearance?

Answer:
This faucet is mounted directly to my granite counter top with a single-hole installation. There is 7" clearance between the counter top and spout of the faucet.
If your separator is at the same level as your counter top, you should have 7" of clearance. If your sink is an under-mount sink, you would have additional clearance, whatever the difference is between the counter top and top of your separator.
