Savile Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser 4.6 5 58 58
like the style The overall look and operation is very good, but what I don't like is the fact that the handle has to be perfectly centered to completely shut off the water. If I'm running hot water and move the handle left to shut it off it continues to run until I pull the handle back to the center position. I've had several single control faucets and used many others and never did I have to locate the temperature center to completely shut off the water. I also find my water left running from other people that use the faucet. I constantly have to remind everyone how to shut the water off. May 29, 2012
Our family is happy with this faucet. Everyone loved the upgrade and the kids were making excuses to use the new faucet. The Venetian bronze finish is attractive and goes well with our sink. The pull down handle is something I've always wanted and I'm glad this faucet has the MagnaTite docking system because I read reviews on other faucets where the docking systems failed and I'd be royally peeved if I purchased a faucet that suffered that failure. I wanted a high arching faucet and while that may have some drawbacks such as more likelihood of splashing, it's easily remedied. The benefit of being able to fill and wash pots and pans easier very much outweighs the drawbacks. Installation was a breeze. The worst part was getting the old faucet out as the nuts were difficult to loosen and there wasn't much room to work. Once that was out I had this faucet connected and running leak-free in 20 minutes and I had never installed a faucet before. I did have to enlarge the soap dispenser hole with a grinding bit on a drill but that wasn't difficult at all. The cons are that the handle takes some getting used to finding a position for warm water but I think that's minor and may be fixed setting the faucet handle to the other limited range position but I don't care enough to try that. The soap dispenser is plastic but maybe that's a functional choice, I don't know, if not I'd rather have paid a little more for a metal one. Also the soap dispenser sits a little low off the top of the sink (2.25 inches). It's not a big deal on my sink as it juts out over the sink but depending on how wide your sink top is, it could be. Overall, I think these cons are minor. Bottom line, everyone loves the look of and performance of this new faucet. Installation was a snap. I could have purchased a cheaper faucet, but I don’t think I’d be as pleased. We’re very happy with this purchase. September 29, 2012
Great quality, backed by exceptional customer service Am completely pleased by this faucet in all respects. A great combination of aesthetics and function, at a reasonable price, considering the quality. In addition, I think it is important and relevant to mention that I had posted a positive comment (elsewhere) about this faucet, and was pleasantly surprised to have later been contacted by Delta customer service (even though I hadn't requested it). They were proactive and clearly desired to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the product (which I was). The customer service alone is enough to make me a life-long Delta customer: superior quality and service at a competitive price -- what more could one ask for? April 11, 2014
The pulldown faucet feature is wonderful Delta's name, reputation, our prior Delta purchases, the look & features of this model are what prompted us to buy this kitchen faucet. We have been using it almost 4 months & are very pleased with the push button ease of using either spray or stream, & the firm magnetic fit of the hose when retracted into the faucet. The high rise faucet makes cleaning up larger items much easier, & the pull down hose is very convenient for smaller items & washing out the sink. I am becoming more used to being able to fully turn the water off (on the first try), as it must be exactly in the middle position. June 13, 2012
Drawbacks of this faucet I feel the arched spout sits up too high. Wish the spray was more adjustable. Find it hard to adjust the water temperature. It is very touchy about getting it just right. Wish the soap dispenser was a little higher. For the money was hoping for something a little more practical. Otherwise the faucet is fine. June 12, 2012
Greatest kitchen faucet I could find...and I looked! The design is great. I love the magnetic holder on the spray head, the ease of changing from a steady stream to a spray, the tension on the sprayer hose, and the the one step, single, faucet handle. On the negative side: I found the installation instructions to be unclear, especially the first steps when not using the single hole installation. There were just too many parts, and nothing saying that they were not needed! The instructions need to be more clear on how to install the three hole mount and base plate. February 22, 2013
This faucet is awsome! This is without a doubt the most expensive faucet I've ever purchased. I was tired of leaks, loose fittings, and repairs that were needed at the worst possible time. I am absolutely pleased with the quality and performance not to mention the appearance and compliments from others. Well worth it. June 13, 2012
CURB APPEAL we recently added all new stainless steel appliances to our kitchen yet had an older faucet that had a chrome finish to it. In searching for a new, stainless steel faucet we searched for a Delta to replace our older reliable Delta faucet. This high-rise pull down faucet compliments the other items nicely and is very functional, especially the pull down sprayer with it's dual stream capability and the matching soap dispenser. we have received a lot of compliments on this product. Answer:
Hi Smiller, Thank you for your question. You can replace the 1.8 gallon per minute aerator in you model 19949-SSSD-DST faucet for one with a lower flow rate. The RP60983 at 1.5 gpm, the RP63886 at 1.0 gpm, and the RP60729 at 0.5 gpm will all fit your faucet model.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Sharon64,

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 19949-RBSD-DST has a soap dispenser that will use any liquid soap. The only kind we do not recommend is the foaming soap.

Thanks.

Answer:
After final mounting, the maximum height from the top of counter or sink top, to the outside top of spout is exactly 15 inches. If you only have a 10 inch clearance from sink top to cabinet, any tall spout faucet may not be an option.

Is there any way to adjust the faucet so it is easier to find the warm water setting?

It seems like there is only a tiny "sweet spot" to get warm water. Move it a little bit one way or the other, and it is either extremely hot or cold.

Hi lagivens, Thank you for your question. You will find it easier to find the warm temperature when the water is at a higher flow rate. Once you find the desired temperature you can reduce the water flow to a slower rate.

Do you have a taller arch that can be used with the savile kitchen faucet? We have the bronze finish.

Our sink is about an inch below the counter surface. Two or more inches taller would make a big difference in our kitchen. Thank you.

What is the faucet clearance?

I have a basic stainless steel sink, with a middle separator that runs flush with the top of the sink. I'm in the market for a faucet with as much space between it and this separator as possible. How many inches clearance would this faucet provide?
