Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Same problem as other reviewers I bought this just over a year ago to replace a basic builder's grade faucet that was used when our home was built in 1990. I really like the looks of this, but last week the side sprayer button got loose and within 2 days the button broke off entirely. It is plastic inside, I came on this site to look at getting a replacement piece after going to both Home Depot & Lowes this morning to purchase a replacement sprayer. Home Depot sells the entire faucet for $119, so $65 just for the replacement sprayer seems a little high. I really thought this would last longer than 1 year considering the basic plain one the builder used lasted 24 years.... January 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Looks Great - Terrible Quality :-( We really love the look of this faucet and purchased it to compliment our new kitchen. However, within the first year after install, the hose diverter connection stem snapped off. We hardly ever used the hose, and figured it must have been a bad part from the factory. We replaced the faucet with an identical, brand new one and less than a year later, the very same thing happened to the new one. Reviews from other consumers indicate they have had the same problem. We went through two of them in about 18 months. Really frustrating. There is obviously a design flaw with this product. I would not recommend this product. March 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by This product has plastic parts on sprayer. I am very happy with the main faucet. However, i am sorry to have purchased it with a plastic sprayer. The plastic lever broke. Upon checking, I found the lever broke off at the top. I also found that the brass attachment that the quick connect hose inserts into doesn't form a tight bond. Thus, it is leaking a good amount of water under my sink when the faucet is turned on! Home Deport does not carry the needed parts for the repair. Delta will ship a new sprayer in 5 to 10 days!!!! I don't know if this includes the O-Ring needed to stop the leak in the quick connector?? also, no sink for Christmas!!!!! December 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice faucet Replaced a leaking faucet with this one. Got this job off my to do list. I like the height of the faucet because I can put a good size cooking pot under it to fill up. Here's the bad news that I had. I had to call for service on how come the handles were working incorrectly. On was off and off was on. We had to take apart the handles and set them to the right position. Next was the spray hose where it connects to the faucet. That plastic piece was loose and looked broken. When turned on the water it shut off and got water everywhere. Had to work on it to connect it and make sure it's holding together. I'm happy with this product but that plastic makes me nervous. If it doesn't hold the whole faucet is useless. October 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely Faucet and Delta stands behind their Product! I have this faucet in a beautiful oil-rubbed bronze finish. Its worked great but recently my sprayer started sticking shut and wouldn't stop spraying. I went to Home Depot to buy a new one and a clerk told me to call Delta "they'll stand behind their product". I called and a very nice lady helped me and a new sprayer is being mailed to me now. It was very easy and she made sure that it was the right part number even though I called with the wrong one. I need a new faucet for my bath and I'm 100% buying Delta. (no, I don't work for them, I'm just thrilled with great service.) June 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Same problem shows in many reviews I've had this faucet for a little over 2 years. My plumber recommended Delta faucets. But just this evening, pulled out side sprayer to spray dishes, no spray just gushing water under sink. Had to shut off water valves and completely remove faucet. It seems that the sprayer quick-disconnect piece (with the o-ring) had completely snapped off inside the diverter(?). I was able to call support just before closing to get the wheels in motion for a replacement but I will be without a faucet for a few days. There needs to be a design change in this product piece. December 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bought 2 both leak from base I am furious, one that I didn't read the reviews on this before I bought it but now that I have paid a plumber twice and the second one leaks from the base just like the first did. Apparently this is a common theme. I was excited about the granite countertops but my excitement faded quickly with this disaster. Thank you for wasting my money on a plumber. The 2 faucets I will be aure to return to Home Depot, since they are both brand new. Junk, just junk. When you factor in the plumber these 2 faucets have cost me almost 600. April 12, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed I installed this faucet four years ago. I had to put teflon tape on the threads of the aerator the very first day to keep it from leaking. The side sprayer has never worked properly. Sometimes it sprays, sometimes it doesn't. Now the faucet is dripping terribly. Also, when you turn on the faucet, water leaks out around the base of the spout. For what I paid, I expected better quality. The 3 Price Pfister faucets I installed in my bathrooms have all worked fine for 14 years. February 20, 2016

I love everything about this faucet. It has held up great and still looks very nice and I'm picky. One of the handles have become loose over the years. If the set screw is stripped what can I do?

Answer:
They sell a reverse drill bit which can extract the old set screw if you can't remove it and then replace with a new set screw. Just call delta and have them send a replacement. They are very good about free replacement parts.

Answer:
Hi Wendy, Thank you for your question. The model 21925LF came out in 2009. No the previous models are not unsafe. According to the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI), lead levels have been reduced to nearly immeasurable amounts due to advancements in materials and manufacturing processes. Where trace amounts of lead have been found in drinking water, aging infrastructure, including pipe and plumbing system components, have been the main contributors of trace amounts of lead in the water supply.
If the set screw is stripped it can be removed with an easy out or by drilling the set screw out and replaced with a new RP41896. If the handle becomes damaged during this process it will have to be replaced with RP48117.
Thanks,
Dave

Water continues to flow after shutoff for a couple of seconds

Customer avatar

This faucet turns on to full pressure slowly and when shut off takes a couple of seconds to completely stop flowing. I liken to to how auto closing drawers operate. When using just the sprayer, it operates normally. So is there an adjustment in the diverter?

Answer:
Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question. No,there is no adjustment to be made. The water that runs after the faucet is shut off is the residual water that remained in the spout draining out. This is normal for the hi arc spouts.
Thanks,
Dave

How can we adjust the water pressure?

We love the new faucet but find we have lost a lot of water pressure. The stray hose is great and the pressure is perfect, but the main water pressure is a lot less than we used to have with our old faucet. Is there a way to adjust this?

Answer:
Hi Rich,
Thank you for your question. We are sorry that you are having trouble with your faucet. Please remove the aerator and turn on the faucet to flush the line, also check the aerator for debris. Another potential reason for less pressure could be that your model 21925LF-SS faucet comes equipped with a 1.8 gallon per minute aerator. This is less than older faucets that had higher flowrates of 2.0 or 2.2 gpm.
Thanks,
Dave

Do I need to install the spray hose

I just bought the Vessona faucet. I don't have a hole for the spray hose in my kitchen sink. The salesman at Home Depot said it's fine and we just don't need to connect the hose. I just wanted to check whether this was true.

Thank you for your question. It is not necessary to use the sprayer on your Delta Faucet model # 21925LF-SS but you will need to cap off the sprayer using model # RP40301.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 21925LF-SS has an aerator with the size of 55/64"-27. We do not manufacture an adapter for this aerator. You will need to find one that fits the faucet and your dishwaher.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 21925LF-SS has a high spout and the water that you are seeing drip for a few seconds after you shut it off is the residual water left in the high spout. This is a normal occurence.

Answer:
I own the same faucet and have the same problem each time I change the water filter connected to the faucet. I disagree with the Delta expert, the faucet should not drip when turned off and is not the normal operation. As an Architect, I would not have this facuet if that was the case. How to fix? I struggle with it each time. The problem is air in the system. If any air is trapped, then the water cohesion effect will not hold the water in the spout. I am not sure where the air is being trapped, but I try several things each time. Soak the aerator in iron out, take off spout and clean, and bring the water pressure on my well system up to maximum. Before reinstalling the aerator, I open both valves fully to flush the tube. I then quickly turn both handles on and off several times and once I hear that small amount of air clear, it works properly. I change my water filter every six months, and each time it is more difficult to clear the trapped air. I would guess that the large high spout design is contributing to the problem. I can't tell you where the problem is exactly, but I do know it is about trapped air and water cohesion.
