Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Diverter Problem This is a nice looking, but low-end faucet. The gasket does not seat well and I will have to do some caulking. But the worst part is that the plastic "diverter" is air-hammered into the spout fixture. The instructions tell you to remove it with a coin to flush the system before use. The coin immediately breaks off the ears of the diverter. Very cheap. If they wanted it removed to flush the system, why not pack it loose in the box and not welded into the system??? Rated 2 out of 5 by Easy install, good pressure, horrible diverter I purchased this back in August of 2015 and the sprayer is leaking like the rest of the reviews. Horrible design apparently and a sub par product for the money. I would recommend looking at another facet for sure. April 3, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice Faucet BUT I purchased and installed this product a year and a half ago (Aug 2015). About a month ago the sprayer started leaking whenever the water is turned on. Within a couple weeks it is spraying water all over the kitchen whenever the water is turned on so I have to cover the sprayer with a tall cup at all times to keep the water from soaking everything. I believe this is another diverter issue but I'm not sure. Even though this is a lower end faucet it seems like it should last more that a year and a half. I would rate much higher if I didn't have this problem so early. February 17, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as heavy made... like my last Delta The sprayer leaks a little after the water is turned off. April 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE MY NEW PRODUCT I NEVER HAD A TWO HANDLE FAUCET BEFORE THIS IS GREAT December 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Design! This product was easier to install than the one I replaced. An excellent feature is the "quick connect" sprayer because this connection, typically, is harder to access and attach through usual means. My old unit was integrated, meaning you could not access worn parts. The Delta unit allows you to access replacement parts for the spout, bonnet, and aerator without having to replace the entire unit, and the directions tell you the parts and part numbers for any needed replacement parts. It certainly was price competitive with Price-Pfister. March 26, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great features, one fatal flaw with diverter valve Overall great looks on this faucet convinced my husband and I to purchase it. We had a different opinion however, after almost completing the install. Last step is to remove the diverter valve and flush the system. You are supposed to remove valve with a quarter. Plastic valve immediately broke. Had to remove entire faucet and drive back to store to return. I did want the faucet so we asked the head of the plumbing dept. to remove the diverter for us before we left the store. He was unable to remove it without breaking it also. Why would you put it in there if the installer has to take it out when installing? Ended up taking another home and not flushing system out as entire was spent on project and we just wanted to be done. The water flow is less than the faucet it replaced and I am left wondering if it is because the system was not flushed. I hope diverter never needs to be fixed as I don't think it will ever come out in one piece. Whole faucet probably will need to be replaced at that point. Really too bad, it is a very nice faucet otherwise, but diverter really tanked my ratings of it, May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome I have this item and it works great I have had for 2 years now and no issues! December 12, 2012

Diverter issues

We are going to install this faucet this week and I keep reading about diverter issues and wonder if we HAVE to flush the system? It seems if you try to remove that part it will break. My question is do you have to remove that part and flush the system? We do not have time to have a part break and have to take the faucet back to the store and buy a different one.
Thank you.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for your question. You don't have to remove the diverter but we do recommend removing the aerator and flushing the system at the end of the install.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 21984LF-SS is equipped with a sprayer. If you do not need the sprayer, you will need to purchase Delta Faucet model # RP40301 to cap it off.

Answer:
Hi Buford! Thanks for your question. Hooking up a portable dishwasher is not recommended for this model. The spout has uncommon external threads of 3/4". Therefore, there is not an adapter offered by Delta to accommodate a dishwasher hookup for this model.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 21984LF handles have a set screw in the side of the handle. They will need an allen wrench to tighten the handle to the cartridge.

Can this faucet be installed without the bottom plate? What's the max deck thickness?

Can I get it without the sprayer - only a soap dispenser instead?

Answer:
I would not recommend it. The bottom plate is approximately 1/8" thick. Delta has similar models without a sprayer. I don't know about any soap dispenser.
