I have the 2256-RB-DST. My spray nozzle was leaking so I bought the RB53881 as the replacement. The end of the hose that should hook up under the sink seems to have a quick connect type end which does not match the threaded nut on the end of the hose that came off the original one. What piece do I need to hook the end of the spray nozzle hose into the faucet?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2256-RB-DST does not have to have the sprayer installed. There is a clip that can be used to cap off the sprayer connection.

I installed the unit sometime around or before 2009. The faucet has developed leaks at both handles. I ordered the replacement valves PR60400. I am having difficulty inserting the new valve into the valve pipe and I don't want to force it and damage the valve.
The valves appear different from the ones the faucet came with when first purchased. Are these the correct valves or has the model gone through some changes and I have an earlier generation?
