Rated 5 out of 5 by Butchie The very nice style
The delta faucet mod 400-DST-L is a very good choice , l checked out other brands from features to , price and style the gpm and be able to get replacement parts if needed . I had my house built in 2003 after living there for several months the bathroom faucet started to drip so I went to Lowes checked out faucets and purchased 2 delta faucets , one for each bathroom figuring the other might start dripping. So I replaced both. The kitchen faucet I replaced was so easy to install I was finished in about a half hour, that's taking my time. Very nice product and I very well happy. Thanks for making a great faucet . Thank you, Joe.

by Willie Ease to install
I had Delta faucets installed in the home we built in 1992. The kitchen sink faucet always had a problem. At times it would leak out of the top. After years of putting up with this problem my wife insisted that I fix it. I have repaired Delta bathroom faucets therefore I thought I could repair the kitchen faucet. The leak cause so much corrision that I broke the cold water copper link when attempting to disassemble the faucet. Then the next problem was the bolt from the faucet that helt it securely to the sink. It was so corruded that the bolt sheared off. It was extremely difficult to remove the old faucet.
My big problem now is the shower faucet somethings continues to drip after it is turned off. I know that if I can successfully disassemble it that I could repair it. However I do not know the problems that I may have and hope that I never have to fix this problem.
The new kitchen faucet was very easy to install and there are no leaks.

Great looks. Installed easily. Only difficulty was removing the 15 year old faucet. (also a Delta) Everything was rusted and the mounting bolts just turned around in their socket. The new faucet fit perfectly and the supply lines were easily cut to length. The sprayer was a breeze to install. I like the idea that the sprayer valve is easy to access under the sink. No runs, no leaks, no errors!! Would buy another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by larry100 To hard to adjust the right water temperature.
All the other water faucets I have had you just move the control lever to the right or left. This faucet you have to push it back and fourth while moving it to the left or right to get the right temperature and water pressure. I find this very annoying. If I was younger and more flexible I would have taken it out and returned it for another type.

Kitchen faucets and sprayers! I've bought two from different companies in the past four years. I'm hoping the Delta faucet and sprayer will last longer and not leak, corrode and look ugly or come loose and spray the whole kitchen with hot water as one of the previous models did. My advice: Put a shutoff valve under all sinks.
Faucets, handles and sprayers in general don't seem to be made to withstand country rusty, limey water, even though it's softened. Companies need to use a material on the inside of the product that repels lime and rust. In addition, our cold kitchen line is unsoftened water, on the advice of our doctor.
My plumber recommended a Delta, but they're expensive, and the one I could afford at $79 didn't have the high arc faucet or brushed finish I wanted. I hope it lasts. It looks nice, works well and the sprayer is functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by idler evolution of a good product
This is a replacement for the much admired classic with the spherical knob on the handle.
Once again the plumbing connections have changed, sigh, and what should have been an easy replacement install turned into another frustrating exercise in modifying the plumbing.
The new style of connections : long stiff plastic tubing was made to work. One wonders what the re-designers were thinking (or not).
The action of the faucet is nice and smooth, characteristic of new device ... time will tell whether it, like its ancestors, will stiffen.
It does seem that the control is much touchier than earlier incarnations - though the innards are the same I think.
There are essentially three temperature choices: too hot when slightly off center to the left, comfortably warm when dead center , and cold when off center to the right.
It does seem more difficult to modulate, but maybe that just takes some experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GGill Excellent quality and performance
I installed this as a replacement to a 10-year old Price Pfister kitchen faucet which began leaking.
Very satisfied with the quality and ease of installation. Look forward to many good years of service. This looks to be an excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigPhil47 Excellent product at a fair price
This very attractive faucet purchased at a fair price (even lower than that of the Delta faucet replaced) promises many years of reliable, trouble-free service.
