The aerator is very poorly designed. The aerator is very poorly designed and and sprays water all over when put your hand or something under the faucet. The touch on/off part works great. March 24, 2013

Is it possible to increase the hot water flow?

Cold and combined flow is fine, but "full hot" is much lower. This is unique to this faucet as no other in the house has low hot water flow. I see that the valve has a red plastic slider for some purpose, but it doesn't seem to affect flow. Thanks

The standard aerator that comes with the unit causes the water to splash all over when you put something under it. I understand how to clean it and that does not help.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 4380T-DST will flow at 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. We do have aerators available with lower flow that may help with splashing. Delta Faucet model # RP60983 flows at 1.5 gpm; model RP63886 flows at 1.0 gpm. We also manufacture model RP60729 which flows at .5 gpm.

How can I increase flow on the 4380T-DST?

I just installed the 4380T-DST. My house has plenty of pressure and flow and the stream out the tap is nice a straight but the gpm is rather low. I'm assuming the strainer is limiting gpm. Is there any way to increase the flow?

Answer: 
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 4380-DST flows at 2.2 gpm. This is highest flow allowable by codes. If your faucet is not flowing at 2.2 gpm, there may be debris in the line or in the aerator. We recommend removing the aerator and flushing the lines. You may also soak your aerator in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and cold water overnight to remove any mineral deposits.

water stream

Is it possible to adjust a shape of the water stream on Delta 4380T-SS-DST? The water is coming from the center only, not like a shower.

Answer: 
Thank you for your post. Delta Faucet model #4380-DST is manufactured with a cache aerator which does not have an adjustability feature. We would recommend removing the aerator to soak overnight in a 50/50 water and vinegar solution. This would help ensure there is no debris in the way of the stream.
