Excellent buy for the money
Our water has a high mineral content so we go through faucets about every 3-4 years. I selected this one because of the lifetime warranty and have been very pleased with the purchase. We have had the product for 2 years and there is no sign of corrosion. We have had no problems with leaks or drips and the installation was very simple.
I purchased this faucet at a plumbing supply store based on their recommendation and I have not been disappointed.

Exceeded my expectations
This Model replaced a previous Delta 2008 model. I can see Delta put some thought into the New model like the rigid plastic mounting gasket, the new more secure connection for the vegetable sprayer along with a kink free hose. Great improvements. Has been installed for a week and looks and works great!

Leaked from Handle and spout as soon as it was installed
I was very disappointed. As soon as I turned it on, it started leaking from the spout and underneath the handle. I looked at the manual and checked to see that the nut in the handle was tight, and it still leaked. This is very bad quality control.

This is a replacement faucet for a cheaper one that I had installed when I remodeled my kitchen. It was simple to install, no tool required and it performs perfectly.
I like the design, and the fact that is features DIAMOND Seal Technology. No more drips.
A bit pricey, but worth the cost. The lifetime warranty really is great!

Faucet has design problems
This faucet replaced an older Delta faucet that we liked very much, but corroded out due to acid water.
Unfortunately, the new 440-DST is not as good as the old one.
Using the handle, it has a very narrow band of adjustment for temperature. Slightly too far to the left and you get scalded, slightly to far to the right and it's freezing cold. The smallest movement of the handle produces a drastic change in the temperature
To turn off flow, handle has to be depressed exactly in the center position or it continues to drip, necessitating a return trip to the faucet to re-adjust the handle to center.
While the new unit may not corrode like the old one, it is much harder to operate properly and wastes time for the user.
Positive things: Spout swivels back and forth much easier, and spray nozzle hose seems more flexible.

For use with portable dishwasher, expect to replace annually
Landlord has needed to replace this faucet almost annually. He says it's due to the lack of a decent pressure gauge in the mechanism when using it with a portable dishwasher. Writes it off on his taxes, but he's getting tired of replacing it. Said he'd look into a different brand next time. We will see. Time will tell.

Like look but dripped from start
I like the design but as soon it was installed a drip formed on the spout. A month later it still hasn't turned into a real drip, the drop just hangs there, but suggests it will soon be leaking. Disappointed because I do like the design.
