Cicero Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser 3.3 5 29 29
Easy to install! Let me start by stating how much I hate plumbing! This product has changed my mind about plumbing though. It was so easy to install that I couldn't believe how fast I was done installing it! It has a very sleek finish and it also has a high enough neck to put large pots underneath it without getting in the way. PLUS-My wife just absolutely LOVES this faucet! Thanks DELTA! June 13, 2012
Excellent quality for the money! I replaced the 10 year old Moen for another Moen - but found that the newer Moen was subpar on hardware and stability - overall it was cheaply constructed and sat terribly. Returned to store and exchanged for this Delta model: Cicero - solid feel, well constructed, good hardware and stability. Looks great. I had forgotten how good Delta is! The hardware holding the faucet to the sink is well made and installs solidly without it moving and slipping as I found with so many other manufacturers, hence I returned them all. The deck plate, or base plate which I needed, came with shanks and its own locknuts, excellent - this by itself is a great feature that many of the other manufacturers eliminated - it helps stabilize the faucet to the sink. The mounting nut and washer are well made and secured the faucet to the deck plate and sink - a perfect marriage. Love it! Delta! April 17, 2012
Nothing but trouble This faucet was installed in March 2009, and since then I have had to replace the valve assembly twice; the first time being only 3 months after installation, second time being 18 months later. The problem has always been that the faucet does not shut off properly. At first, playing with the handle gets the water to stop, but after a while longer, this no longer works, and the valve assy needs to be replaced. I have also had trouble with the wand, where the switch between flow and spray was very difficult to push. Replacing the wand fixed this problem. So far, all parts have been replaced at no cost to me under Delta's lifetime warranty. Had it not been for the warranty, I would have replaced the entire faucet by now; with another brand/type. To sum it all up, this is a nice looking faucet, but cannot withstand normal use, as it is constructed of poor quality plastic parts. I do not recommend this model. December 14, 2012
PRACTICAL & HELPFUL FOR KITCHEN TASKS CHOICE OF SINGLE AERATED STREAM OR MULTI-STREAM SPRAY. MAKES FILLING COOKING POTS, UTILITY CONTAINERS, ETC. EASIER & QUICKER. DETACHABLE PULL-OUT SPOUT WITH GENEROUS HOSE LENGTH MAKES COOKING & CLEANING TASKS FASTER & MORE EFFECTIVE. WATER LINE DIAMETER GIVES MAXIMUM PRESSURE POWER. DETERGENT DISPENSER IS EASY TO REFILL, AND VERY HANDY (ANOTHER TIME SAVER). IF I CAN SAVE TIME AND PERFORM ESSENTIAL TASKS EASIER AND MORE EFFECTIVELY (AND WITH THIS FAUCET I CAN) I AM SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE. I'VE HAD THIS FAUCET FOR A SHORT TIME (ABOUT 1 MONTH), AND SO FAR, NO PROBLEMS--ONLY BENEFITS. April 28, 2014
Cannot remove aerator to clean! Not worth $$$ After coming to this site to see how to remove the aerator, I now realize my mistake of not reading this sooner. The aerator cannot beremoved to be cleaned, and this faucet is way too much $$$ forthis nonsense. I too would liketo be e-mailed and sent the part to replace the aerator. Thank you. I'veonly had this faucet a couple of months and disappointed now. August 24, 2013
aerator I don't like it because I can not remove the aerator to clean it. March 29, 2013
This product was easy to install. This faucet was easy to install and had all necessary hardware. I replaced our old faucet in about 30 minutes. The only issue I have with it is the color. I wanted a white one to match the sink but the only finish I could find was chrome. As long as it functions well the color isn't that important. I have had this faucet for several months and it works great. August 13, 2012
Nice faucet Just about 5 years installed and the only issue is the valve shaft broke where the set screw installs against it. I ordered a new valve for it before I realized it had a lifetime warranty (not sure if installing contractor left me paperwork). Other than that it just needs a "firm" close to ensure it doesn't drip. February 24, 2014

Answer:
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. Two models are available in black. Model 470-BL-DST, and Model 4159-BL-DST. To find them on our web site, click on kitchen, then kitchen faucets. Go to the finishes section and select black and matte black. This will bring up the faucets available in those finishes.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 468-SSSD-DST does have a couple of beverage faucets to choose from that will work with any water filter system including RO systems.

We offer a traditional faucet with Delta Faucet model # 1914-SS-DST and a transitional faucet with Delta Faucet model # 1977-SS-DST.

Answer:
Hi Ray. No there isn't, and what is more it that you can't service the aerator. That means that your water flow will reduce over time as sediment collects in the aerator. If you like your tap water flavored with sediment this is your faucet. I hope that helps!

What is the difference between the Cicero (468-SD-DST) and Palo (467-) models?

The Cicero model is sold by Home Depot, the Palo by Lowe's and Amazon. I couldn't compare the models on the Delta website because in the summary the website showed only the Palo model. I saw Cicero at Home Depot, and a Google search lead me to this model also here on the Delta website. Does the Palo allow to control the water flow? That seems to be an issue raised in the Q&As for the Cicero. What is the difference between these two models and which would you recommend? Thank you.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model numbers 468-SD-DST and 467-DST differ in a couple of ways. The handles and the wands are slightly different. Also the 468-SD-DST has a soap dispenser included with it, and the 467-DST does not. It is a personal preference as to which one is better, they will perform the same way.

Cicero Model 468-SSSD

I just replaced an older Delta pull out model with the Cicero 468-SSSD. I am very disappointed with the water pressure. Is there a flow restrictor I can remove?
I am reading reviews online from others having the same problem. The pressure was fine in my old faucet, so I doubt the problem is in my supply lines.
I have trusted Delta for years, I am very disappointed.
I am going to return it to Home Depot if you don't have a solution for me.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 468-SSSD has a 1.5 gallons per minute (GPM) flow. This is the industry standard now. We do not know what your old faucet's GPM was but it may have been more. There also may be debris in the line. We recommend taking off the aerator and flushing the lines to remove any debris. You may also soak your aerator in a 50/50 solution of white vineager and cold water overnight.

Answer:
My plumber installed it without the baseplate. He had trouble trying to install it with the plate so we just left it off. Works well so far, about a month now.

468 SSSD - incorrect replacement valve assembly?

Our 468 SSSD single handle valve set is several years old but continues to work very well. Recently it has begun to drip intermittently with the valve handle 'off', so I researched and bought what I thought was the correct valve replacement (p/n RP50587) to fix this occasional drip. But when I disassembled the valve (according to the directions in the replacement valve packaging), this new replacement valve does not resemble the original 'bad' valve in any manner. The 'old' valve seems to be just a short lever with a polished perforated ball that is sealed against three 'o-rings' in the bottom of the valve seat/receptacle, while the new one resembles a 'cartridge' made of plastic/nylon that seemingly does not seem to fit this existing valve body. Was there an 'earlier model' valve for some 468 SSSD valve sets that might not be illustrated in the parts list? Or did I simply not disassemble the valve sufficiently to the point where it is possible to install this new valve?
