Answer:
Hi jsell2, Thank you for your question. The only difference between the model 470 and 472 is the handle. The 470 is a traditional level style handle, the 472 has a loop handle.
Thanks,
Dave

What clip to use for attaching pull out handle to faucet water line?

From the information on your webpage I think the faucet is a Signature 470-DST, 470-WE-DST or 472-DST. The pull out handle uses some type of clip at the end to attach to the water line coming from the faucet. From the parts diagrams it looks like part # RP60911 is the part. Can you verify this? Attached are a couple of photos of the faucet and the connection I'm trying to repair with this part.

Thanks.

Answer:
Hi Paul, Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs you have an older non-DST version of the 470/472. The correct clip to use on your hose connection is the RP32522. I have attached a link to the parts breakdown of the model 470 below to help with your repair.
Thanks,
Dave

Answer:
Hi Jkflip, Thank you for your question. There is not a removable flow restrictor in the model 470-AR-DST. The flow rate is controlled by the aerator which on this model is 1.8 gallons per minute. You can switch out the aerator to one with a higher flow rate, the RP53998 flows at 2.2 gpm and will fit this model.
Thanks,
Dave

Can I replace the aerator with an aerator with snap connection for portable dishwasher?

I replaced the aerator on our present single handle faucet with an aerator that had a snap connection for our portable dishwasher. Can I do that on this faucet?

Installation w/o base

I asked the earlier question about installing w/o the base. Thanks for the response. I noticed that my current faucet has a gasket at the bottom; does the new one come with a new gasket?

Can the faucet be installed w/o the base?

I have this same faucet w/o the rectangular base. There is no room on the lip of my sink for the base. Will this work or is it offered in a model w/o the base?

Does the pull out “wand assembly” have a water shut-off button? That is, can you shut the water flow completely OFF from the wand assembly?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 470-AR-DST has a handle on the back of the faucet. The only way to completely shut off the water is to use the handle. The spray wand will switch from spray to stream but not turn the water off completely.

We do manufaucture touch faucets that can be shut off by touching the spout.
