After 7 years of gentle use:
While I LOVE the functionality of this faucet, for the price, I would expect it to hold-up better than it has. Over the years, I've had problems with the wand's threading loosening from the water supply line. That was remedied by re-tightening it. This week (after 7 years of use) the wand completely pulled-out of the interface. (Broken) Not because it was forced, but because the o-rings around the wand's hose got stuck to the faucet body and prevented the hose from following the wand when the wand was pulled out for spray use. We were not hard on this faucet (no kids), so if you're tough on stuff, this is unlikely to last.

I have Delta in my shower and over tub. Very happy!
Just had my plumber install a new Delta faucet in my kitchen, single hole with pull out sprayer. Had a Moen, similar type, but base gasket deteriated resulting a loose and shifting faucet that could not be fixed, due to poor engineering! I will Never buy another Moen product. The Delta faucet is made so much better. There is no comparison! Thanks!

Great product, sometimes hard to balance hot/cold mix
Love the design and pull-out functionality, but sometimes finding the right temperature mix is tough because it is so sensitive.

Best faucet we ever had at past home.
We moved a few months ago where we had this Delta model faucet for 10years. It was on a treated well but 1/2 of the water coming through the faucet was untreated well water. Our prior faucet was an expensive German brand which cost in the $500 range. I remember this well since my husband "had a fit" when he saw what I paid for the faucet. It lasted 2 years and the manufacturer's help was to tell us to purchase a new one! Our Delta faucet had an issue after 5 years and Delta's response was to send us an entire replacement faucet honoring their lifetime warranty! We are currently looking for a new Delta faucet for the condo we just purchased!

Expensive Garbage
I wanted to love this faucet because I like the simple looks of it and it's functionality. However, after just 5 years we are replacing it because of the problems previously listed: leaking & corrosion and the whole thing is no good. We bought Delta because we thought is would last, but even before this faucet completely went kaput, the finish started wearing off--at about age 2. Really? I'd like to think faucets last longer than this. Very disappointed.

Leaking Faucet
I would not recommend this faucet to any one. I have only had it for two years and it is leaking inside of the handle. I caught it in time to avoid water damage to the inside of cabinet where it leaks when you dont have it pulled out and wount notice it leaking.Looks good but not worth the money and the damage it can cause.

My Faucet for 2 years
The Faucet is complete garbage, no idea how anyone could rate this 5 stars other than delta employees.
We had it for 2 years after which it started a slow leak, followed a few months later by the handle breaking off as its made of cheap plastic...this caused the hose to spray at my wife.

Faucet handle
This faucet does not delivery quality service. The handle began to leak internally. The resulting leaking has caused damage to the sink base. Cannot locate a replacement handle without buying a complete unit. This faucet does not carry a lifetime warranty as stated on the box.

I have this same faucet w/o the rectangular base. There is no room on the lip of my sink for the base. Will this work or is it offered in a model w/o the base?

Water flow has lessened with use to about 50% at installation

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 470-AR-DST has a handle on the back of the faucet. The only way to completely shut off the water is to use the handle. The spray wand will switch from spray to stream but not turn the water off completely.We do manufaucture touch faucets that can be shut off by touching the spout.

Turn off the water supply. Remove the handle and bonnet nut. Remove spout. Clean bearing surfaces and lubricate them with silicon grease before reassembly. Assemble in reverse order.Age: 65 or over

Hot water output low
Just installed this faucet and the hot water output is low compared to other faucets all around the house. I know there is a "handle limit stop" feature with this faucet but the manual says factory default is position 1 which is normal flow. Any ideas?
