Rated 5 out of 5 by Faucet has quality and style We have nothing but Delta faucets. When we remodeled, we changed from a chrome Delta faucet to a stainless finish Delta faucet. This faucet combines beauty and elegance with dependability, quality, and performance. The Magna Tite docking sprayer is easy to pull out and easy to retract. You are able to reach all areas of the sink. The faucet has 2 different water spray choices. We bought an extra soap dispenser, since our sink was bored for 4 holes and we use one for hand soap and one for dish soap. The finish does not show fingerprints. I would highly recommend this faucet to anyone. November 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the separate faucet control When we went looking for a new faucet there were 2 things that we needed to have. First was a separate faucet control and second was having hot and cold clearly marked on the control. This faucet totally filled our bucket list and goes fantastic with our new Kohler ( sorry Delta) stainless steel sink. Everyone who sees it absolutely falls love with it! It is so easy to control water temperature and flow not like the faucets with the control built onto the spigot. Thanks for making a great product and look forward to many years of trouble free service! Bruce & Deb from NH November 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor water temperature blending Out of all the single lever faucets I've used, I've never used one with such a small "zone" for warm water. When I turn on the water straight up the middle sometimes it’s very hot and other times it's barely warm. Once the water is on it only takes the slightest adjustment to go from all hot to all cold. To state the issue in a different way, out of the total travel, cold 0% to hot 100%, the water temperature is all cold from 0%-44% warm/blended from 45% to 55% and all hot from 56% to 100%. Rated 1 out of 5 by The product is not durable The "powerful integrated magnet" stopped functioning after about two years. Broken? Came off? Can not tell but after searching the net I can not find a replacement. Home Depot shows an exploded picture but no part number for the magnet. After about three years the faucet leaks constantly. I now have to repair the leak. (Still can not repair the magnet) I've had plenty of Deltas in the past and they are just not durable. January 29, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Looks Beautiful, but cannot easily adjust temperature We love the look, feel and quality of this faucet. We needed a faucet to fill the 3 holes in our sink, and wanted a high arc pull down. We also wanted Delta because of the magnetic attachment and the ability to have the spray stay set to spray at very low flows and when you turn the water off and back on. Our old no name and Moen reverted back to aerated flow. When we saw this in our local Home Depot, it looked to be the perfect faucet. But, the big problem we are having is that we are unable to find the sweet spot for warm water. The slightest movement of the handle from left to right makes water go from scalding to ice cold. Then a tiny adjustment to the left and it is back to scalding hot! We waste a lot of water trying to get it to warm. I wonder if we can use a cartridge from a different model to make the temperature adjustment smooth, like our friend's Delta is. If not, I am going to have to find a different faucet. January 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lakeview Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Very good product. The soap pump mechanism failed recently. Not a big deal.......it has received tons of abuse.......last but not least.......the awesome Delta customer service team sent me a new one free of charge.....Delta hands down stands by their product...with a great lifetime warranty. I will always purchase Delta products as long as I'm alive. Thank you! February 27, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by This product is good looking This product is good looking, and we like it overall, but when we turn it off it continues to drip sometimes and we need to watch it to be sure it is off all of the way. Sometimes we need to turn it back on and off again. It is a good looking faucet and we like the finish. We also like the high arc design. This is our first soap dispenser, and we like it. May 5, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lots of drips After about 18 months of normal use, the faucet handle will not completely shut off the water and the sprayer will not completely switch back from spray to single stream. Given the price, I've been very disappointed with the quality. This is a very stylish, good looking product which was easy to install. Thankfully, it will be easy to remove as well. April 9, 2016

What is the absolute minimum clearance between the back-splash and the base of the faucet?

I see the spec sheet says 2.5" clearance to the back-splash but I don't see why so much space is required. Our current faucet sits almost against the back-splash as we have a narrow space behind our sink, and the current faucet is 2.25" diameter. If this faucet will not work in this configuration can you recommend another Delta product that will? Thank you.

Answer:
Hi Julie, Thank you for your question!
The minimum back splash clearance for all of our kitchen faucets is 2 1/2. This is to allow clearance for the operation of the handle ( most handles go back to turn on) and also for the clearance of the spout ( spouts either swivel 360 degrees or 180).

Can you please tell me what the height of this faucet is, at the highest point of the arc?

I'm trying to determine if I have room under an above-sink shelf.

need flange for sink drain and garbage disposal & add'l soap dispenser

I am considering purchasing the Lakeview Pull Down Faucet with Soap Dispenser and would like to know the availability of coordinating parts. I am looking to replace the 3 1/2" flange for the sink and the 3 1/2 " flange for the garbage disposal in addition to another soap dispenser all in the coordinating "Venetian Bronze". Can you tell me where to purchase these parts since this is part of the Home Depot only collection along with the item/part numbers. Additionally, is it customary to change the flanges to match a new faucet?

Hello Pamb,

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, the only flange for a kitchen sink and garbage disposal that we make is 4 and 1/2" in diameter. The part number for the soap dispenser is RP50781RB.

I want to replace a discontinued Michael Graves collection faucet with the Lakeview, will it work?

I currently have the Graves Single-handle Kitchen Faucet installed with a four hole installation, 4" centers. I replaced the soap/lotion dispenser with a RO water filter tap so for the faucet I am only using 3 holes (faucet, control handle, sprayer). Can I install this faucet in those three holes? Replacing the sprayer with the soap dispenser that comes with this set. Are all holes drilled to the same diameter?

Answer:
You should be able to use this Delta faucet. I too have four holes in my counter top. I kept the soap dispenser from my old unit and now have two soap dispensers. They don't match in design but both have the stainless steel finish. It is fairly insignificant. I think it looks better than plugging one of the wholes. Good luck.

Answer:
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. The recommended hole size for your existing model 1487-SSWF and the new 59963-SSSD-DST are both 1-3/8" diameter. You should be able to install the Lakeview in the existing 3 holes.
Thanks,
Dave

can the Lakeview be installed with spacing other than 4 inch centers?

I have had in past one center hole for main faucet w integrated control lever --- second hole is 7.5 inches on center to the right of the main faucet hole and was for a hand held spray , soap dispenser is way to the left 18 inches from center faucet hole

so I need 3 "components" for the 3 holes but was not sure if the main faucet and control lever for the Lakeview have to be 4 inches on centr apart or can they be spaced further apart?? - assume soap dispenser is separate and not critical on spacing?

Hi Lee, Thank you for your question. The spout and valve on the model 59963-SSSD-DST can be placed further apart. However the wider the spread the shorter the length of the pull down sprayer.
Thanks,
Dave

Hole Spacing for this product

I'd like to confirm that this item will fit in a 3 hole 4" spacing. The product page says it will, but when I look at the tech specs, the diameters are so large, I don't see how it could possibly fit.
