Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This faucet is wonderful!! My husband loves the fact that this faucet could be installed from above the sink. It was very easy! We watched a you tube video that was so helpful! I was wondering if that goose neck faucet would look O.K. in front of a window. But it doesn't bother me at all. It looks great. I wanted some white color on my white porcelain sink and this looks great. I really like the way the pull down faucet works and the magnet works perfectly to put it back in place. Get this, you'll love it! April 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kudos to Deltas Engineers First of all had it not been for the help of the Lowes employees in Wasilla Alaska I would have returned this product.Well they helped us so I didn't.This faucet is the easiest one I have ever installed. As most of you handymen out there know how difficult it is to get that wrench up and in-between the sink and the wall to loosen or tighten the nut that holds the fixture to the sink.Well not on this model the Engineers at Delta have designed the piece that clamps onto the sink just like the ears of an electrical cut in box.All of the work is done from above with two screws with the exception of the water lines of course.I would like to say though that the Deck plate to cover a 3 hole sink Should be included with this product like it is with the black and white one. What a great product and very easy to install. You will not be disappointed with this product. April 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great style and performance I love my new Delta Pull-Down Faucet. This was purchased for my craft room and I was looking for something to go with my white cabinets. This one is perfect for style and looks and the quality of product is excellent! Can't wait until I redo my kitchen and install Delta's sensor faucet! My handyman said this was the easiest faucet install he has ever done. May 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Installs much easier than a traditional kitchen faucet We were looking for a kitchen faucet to go with our white sink and found that almost all the faucets were in stainless steel. This one breaks the trend by adding color. This faucet simply installs from the top of the sink. You still need to hook up the Pex suppply lines, underneath. A little pricey but well made and hopefully this will last a long time. April 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by EASY INSTALL No need to have a faucet wrench for installing a threaded nut on this WELL DESIGNED DELTA kitchen faucet. Buy one and you will find out about DELTA TECHNOLOGY & QUALITY. June 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by What can I say wow This faucet is amazing well made ,sturdy and elegant . Everything I expected . Easy to install everything thing you read on line was correct . It is a beauty thank you .kathy and Kevin Swimm February 20, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Faucet works well but paint chipping off The faucet was easy to install and works as expected. After less than a year of use the paint started chipping off the nozzle. Very expensive faucet to have this happen. Disappointing. February 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best faucet design and look It is so sleek looking, A perfect design to those who are sick and tired of all this stainless steel garbage like me. I had new Corian countertops installed and this was a perfect match with my new stove which is black and stainless steel and is located on the same wall as the sink. I looked on internet, all the major stores until I couldn't any more. This was the perfect look I wanted. I did have a concern about a slow drip, put I contacted customer service they sent a new part out immediately. I have a disability and the handle is a breeze to operate. February 28, 2015

The handle is loose. On my old faucet, I was able to somehow tighten the handle, but I don't see a clear way to do this

Answer:
Hi Tom, Thank you for your question!
On the backside of your handle for the model 9158-SB-DST you should see a button. Once you pry the button out you will have access to the set screw. You will need to tighten the set screw in the handle by using a 1/8" allen wrench.

Can the faucet be mounted with the handle on the left?

I have a Delta faucet with the handle above the spout. I am noticing that I turn it on with either hand but more often with my left while holding an item in my right hand.

Answer:
Hi Sculptress, Thank you for your question. The spout on the 9158-SB-DST swivels a full 360°. The handle can be placed to the left side. To make the faucet lever work with cold to the front and hot to the rear you would also need to switch the supply lines under the sink. The temperatures will be reversed if you do not.

Dave

Tightening the Base

The faucet is all hooked up and it is working perfectly.
The only problem is that the base is loose and is turning back and forth.
What is the best way to tighten this without having to disconnect everything?
Thanks,

Answer:
This faucet is anchored by the EZ anchor, the black plastic mount that was installed first. You might be able to tighten that mount without having to disconnect everything. Basically, you'll need to pull off the spout to expose the faucet, then lay the spout off to the side. Next, with a crescent wrench, loosen the brass assembly and lift it off the EZ anchor. Next, you'll see two anchor screws, these will need to be re-tightened. The directions say to use a cordless screwdriver, which I did.
These steps should enable you to re-tighten the base without having to disconnect everything.

Answer:
Hi Stephen, Thank you for your question. There are two different steps when installing the model 9158-SW-DST with the EZ anchor mounting system that would affect how tight the faucet is to the deck. The first step would be to shut off the water, remove the sprayer assembly, hose, spout, and spout retainer. You can then tighten the hub to the deck by threading the EZ bar through the holes on the brass piece on top of the hub and turning clockwise. If your faucet is still loose at this point, you will have to tighten the EZ anchor assembly which would involve removing the entire faucet as this is the first step in the installation process. I have attached the link to the owners manual for your faucet model and a How to video on the EZ anchor installation below to help you with your repair.
Thanks,
Dave
