Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect, beautiful, easy to install As a woman, I picked out a faucet based on how well the sprayer would go back into the faucet without it hanging out later on, when it starts to wear out. Never did I think it would be as easy as it was to install. I thought perhaps I would have to hire someone, but with a little bit of reading of the directions and the ease in which to hook up the water lines, as well as installing the actual faucet, it was a snap for even I to do. Took me no time at all and it was perfect. December 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Get what you pay for Great looking faucet with clean lines and chrome finish. Feels substantial and, most importantly, works well and puts up with consistent use by all members of our family. We have had Delta faucets in the past; on one we did have problems when it was about 10 years old and they sent out replacement parts quickly and the repair was an easy fix. These faucets are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. May 20, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Uncomfortable but it looks pretty I can't believe all the positive reviews on the design, it is uncomfortable to turn off or on, when your hands are wet you will bring water to the counter stone as you turn off the water. Bad ergonomic design but looks pretty. December 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love this faucet, but a repair already We remodeled our kitchen and this Trinsic beautifully blends in with the new mix of traditional and modern elements. The magnetic pull down is brilliant. The 360 degree swivel allows me to fill a stock pot while it is sitting on my island behind the sink! Never thought about that being a bonus when I purchased this faucet, but it is nice not having to lift a huge pot of water out of the sink and instead just slide it off the island. My only reservation is that the cartridge assembly has gone bad after only 10 months. I could tell the handle had suddenly gotten harder to operate, but still worked. A few days later, I found a water puddle in my new cabinet under the sink. Cleaned everything up and after some investigating, I could see drops of water very slowly, but persistently, sliding down the hose and landing on the cabinet floor. Delta customer service was friendly and helpful and is sending a replacement cartridge assembly. It will be here in a week. Until then, I'm turning off the water! I still love this faucet and would recommend Delta because of the company's reputation, warranty and product quality. November 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best kitchen faucet I have ever owned There not much to say when it's the best kitchen faucet I have ever owned. Functionality and style stand out above all others as does quality of the product. June 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to install. Great faucet. The height allows for the washing of larger items such as pots and pans. Easy to install. July 8, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Beautiful design and finish, infuriatingly low flow rate, aerated I get plenty of compliments on the style and finish of the faucet, but the low flow rate is infuriating. With my old faucet I could hold a pot while filling it, then turn around and start cooking. Now, I set the pot in the sink, turn the water on, walk away for a while, come back, and watch it fill some more. I understand EPA, ASME, and CALGreen standards, but 49 seconds to fill 5.5qt pot is a very long time. I looked into removing the flow restrictor, but I'm told it can't be done on this model. I looked into drilling it out. First, I timed the fill rate without the wand assembly. 35 seconds. It's faster, but not worth attempting to drill the flow restrictor out of the wand. The pressure is very high coming out of the wand hose, so the restrictions are the hose diameter and the wand assembly. It's pretty, but when I return to the sink and it's. still. slow. ly. fill. ing. the. pot. I want to tear it out of the counter, drive down the street to the Delta plant, and ask them to kindly make a faucet that allows water to flow through it. That would be lovely. Also, a non-aerated option would be useful. I understand that aeration increases the perceived volume and helps reduce the splashing from the water jet that results from reducing the tip diameter down to the size of pencil graphite in the name of water conservation, but aerated water combined with the low flow rate adds a challenge to rinsing away soap suds. Giving suds a small supply of water mixed with air makes them grow. May 10, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Looks good but my new cabinet is warped now. This faucet was in the model home of the builder, we liked the way it looked so asked for it in our home with other faucets matching. Hose that extends/retracts developed a leak that I can't find but is was damp enough to warp the wood under my sink cabinet that is only 2.5 years old. This faucet is not worth the retail price listed on this web page. Never thought I would be searching for faucet parts after 2.5 years installed. March 26, 2016

Answer:
Hi Ktexas,

Thank you for your question. This model flows at 1.8 gallons per minute. It may help to partially turn down the stops under the sink. However, the RP61607 adapter can be used to reduce the flow to 1.5 gpm.

Hi Ron, Thank you for your question!
With the faucet installed with the handle facing the right the handle will rotate forward. Pulling the handle out will turn the unit on and put out cold water and when the handle is pulled forward you will get hot water.

Answer:
There is a YouTube video illustrating how to disassemble the wand and clean it. Here are the steps:
1. Use small screw driver at top of button to pop it off.
2. Remove the Phillips head set screw.
3. Slide interior assembly down slightly to expose set screw hole in small plastic "cam" piece.
4. Pop out (from bottom) the small plastic "cam" piece.
5. Slide interior assembly down to completely remove.
6. Unscrew the bottom part (about 1/2" long) of interior assembly.
7. Clean both parts of interior assembly (this will be obvious!).
Reassemble the wand assembly by repeating the above steps in reverse order. Replace the button (last reassembly step) by pushing in bottom part first. If button does not work, remove and try again. This took me several tries.

Answer:
Hi Sandra,

Thank you for your question. If debris is trapped in the wand assembly, please remove the wand from the hose and try lightly tapping it upside-down on the counter. You may also try soaking it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes to help remove minerals.

Thanks,
Jon

Is up (12 o'clock) supposed to be hot or cold?

We have the trinsic in our kitchen and love it! My mother in law was over recently and said that it was installed incorrectly and that hot is supposed to be up (as in handle at 12 o'clock) and cold is supposed to be down (as in pulled toward you). Is this correct?

Answer:
Hi TC, Thank you for your question. When the handle on the model 9159-CZ-DST is at the 12 o'clock position the faucet is actually off. To turn the water on you pull the handle to the right. The cold water starts there and gets hotter as you pull the handle forward. Your current installation is correct.
