Rated 1 out of 5 by pcchar Very bad product
This 9159T-DST came with our new home 1.5 years ago. The first few month worked fine. Then the touch sensor went bad - came on and off randomly. We put it to manual mode by turning on the faucet and disconnected the batteries. By the way we change brand new Duracell batteries every time we troubleshoot knowing this was one of the techniques used in the forum. This went by a few months. Then water stopped to a drip. We reversed the polarity on the solenoid suggested by the forum. It worked for a few days. Today it finally quit - you can hear the solenoid kicked in and out according to touch, the light is blue, just water is only dripping out. Buying a manual one from now on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LeaHood Replacing the faucet for the 3rd time in 3 years.
I picked this faucet as part of a kitchen remodel. I had problems with the touch technology soon after installation. Faucet #1 was repaired twice and replaced once. Faucet #2, same issues but this time the plumber had the same faucet in his home (with the same problems) and disabled the touch technology so I could keep the faucet. It started leaking on Mother's Day while we were preparing for brunch. Plumber arrived day after and after some time testing and evaluating said the problem is inside the faucet and recommended replacement. This time I am replacing with a different brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GeorgeS Leaks from somewhere inside bonnet
Faucet has worked well for about 2 years. Minor erratic off / on scenarios, but no real issue. After 2 years, we noticed water under the sink. Somewhere in the cartridge to bonnet interface, it is leaking. Under warranty, new cartridge and hose was sent. Installed the new cartridge and now it leaks worse than before. For what it cost, it should not have leaked in the first place. Disappointed. Tech person is sending more parts, notably a seal that he says is on the parts diagram but I don't see. A seal between the cartridge and bonnet. I will update this review after resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dana2031 Operates perfectly, as designed.
I've read most all of the other reviews, and experienced some of the same issues shortly after it was installed by a contractor. I was getting more and more frustrated with it (wouldn't come on, wouldn't shut off, came on by it's self, etc,) and was ready to call delta customer assistance. Instead, I downloaded the installation/owner manual and read the electronic section carefully. After making two changes, described in the manual, it worked perfectly. I moved the battery pack at least 2" from the sides of the cabinet sides and moved the wires further apart from each other. I believe most of the issues that others have had are all related to the installation of the faucet rather than the faucet or electronics.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sarah100 The "touch" feature failed shortly after installation
The "touch" feature of this faucet only worked reliably for the first few months after installation and now it practically is unusable. The trouble has been twofold: first, while the "touch" feature originally could be activated by touching any part of the unit, now the faucet only activates when we touch the base of the unit. Second, even when we touch the base, the faucet does not always respond. Often, it turns off even when we do not touch the faucet. I would love to know if this is a solenoid valve issue that could be fixed by replacing the valve.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Don1 Nice touch
This faucet has some nice features that make it very desirable.
It's nice not to have to do anything more than to touch it to turn it on when you have dirty or sticky hands as well as turn it off during a cooking project. The turning radius is also a nice feature. There are a few cons however that could be improved. It must be installed EXACTLY AND PRECISELY to make it work properly and at times it will turn off unexpectedly.
Overall it is a good product that is desirable, stylish as well as funtional.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mkronzon I loved this faucet for the first 4 months, now most of the time it just refuses to come on!
I really loved this faucet that was installed in our new home.....for the first 4 months. It was great just touching it to have it come on- especially with messy hands. But now, it is a major chore just to get water to come out of the faucet. When I touch the faucet, the blue light comes on, but NO WATER. If I continue to play touch for 15-20 touches, it MIGHT produce water. I read the Trouble Shooting guide that came with the faucet- but it is very vague and I am not a plumber - I do not want to remove hoses (if they actually identified which hoses I was supposed to remove) and then not have any water at all. After 4 months, I should not have to be climbing under my sink to try to locate the solenoid. The diagrams provided in the booklet and online are useless for the common consumer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SusanZ Water water everywhere!
We bought our faucet a few months ago. We were in love with it while it worked peoperly. After a few weeks, it would randomly turn on and off- we then, had to manually turn it off. If we would forget to do that, then we would be sorry because we wasted water- our water bill went up because it ran all throughout the day. Ugh! Now, it leaks because we turn it off manually and little trickles of water constantly stream out of the faucet- wet countertops constantly! Help!
