Trinsic Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Featuring Touch2O® Technology 2.7 5 17 17
Hate this faucet!!!!!!!!! I have had the Delta touch faucets (can't remember the name) in the past in two of my homes and absolutely loved it. Never had one problem. I currently live in a brand new home and purchased this faucet and I absolutely hate it!!!!! It is very temperamental, and frustrating to use. I constantly have to manually turn it on and off which defeats the purpose of having a touch activated faucet. According to the plumbing company that installed the faucet, it did not come with any directions which I find strange. My other faucet not only came with directions it came with a dvd to show me how to operate it. If I could swap this faucet out and get the old Delta touch I would in a heart beat!!!!! July 22, 2013
Just what I wanted. My kitchen remodel isn't quite done but my sink and Delta faucet were installed about a week ago. I bought this faucet for the Touch2O feature and because the style is sleek and simple. The Touch2O is awesome and will take some time to get used to as I've never had this feature before. I look forward to the ease of use during food prep when my kitchen is complete. I'm curous as to how long the 6 AA batteries will last- they are needed for the Touch2O feature. My contractor installed the faucet so I can't speak to the ease of installation. July 2012 July 1, 2012
Great Features, But stopped working This was a great faucet when it worked. After only a few months of use the touch feature has stopped working and can't be overriden with the handle. I have to crawl under the sink to get the faucet to turn on. We've tried everything. Has anyone else had this problem? May 5, 2013
Very easy to use and it is far better than my previous faucet The magnet head docking is wonderful and it works at any angle. Because of its height, I can fit in all kitchen appliance to fill in water as well as reach any place I need to. Overall, I will highly recommend this model especially with double sinks. Stopped working after 24 hours I feel silly that I spent hundreds of dollars extra for this faucet. Although it looks nicer than the previous contractor supplied delta faucet, the touch feature went haywire after 24 hours. For the first day it worked flawlessly and we were really excited by how nice it was to have water quickly with just a touch of the wrist. Installation was easy. Now it is possessed. It turns on randomly (came home to find the water running...can't imagine what my water bill will be) and then doesn't turn on now except if you repeatedly touch a certain part of the base. Made sure there are no leaks and that everything was connected and the battery pack has nothing around it. Not sure what to do except to always make sure the faucet is off and then deal with trying to make it come on after. Will need to contact Delta. October 20, 2013
Works about 8% of the time I had high hopes for this faucet, it looks great and melded with our design. For about two weeks it behaved very well. Then, it went mad. Battery replacements did not cure its ways. It is a great idea poorly executed. If the technology performed reliably it would be an asset. Since it is horribly unreliable it is at best annoying and at worst I want to rip it out and hurl it... I would NOT recommend this faucet. I hope that Delta will read this review and attempt resolution. July 1, 2013
Disappointed in this beautiful faucet In mid July, 2013, our contractor finished a kitchen remodel on a second home we use on summer weekends. This faucet is stylish and worked beautifully for the first 2 weekends! Suddenly, last weekend, it developed a drip when in the touch mode. The slow drip became progressively worse. It is such a disappointment. We wonder if there is a way to "troubleshoot" this problem? July 31, 2013
Does not work! This faucet has been a nightmare since we installed it. The touch feature only works intermittently and now we have just a drip for water pressure and can not seem to resolve the problem. I'm currently having to bring all dishes downstairs to the laundry sink to wash the dishes. My husband is very unhappy with me for choosing this faucet! September 26, 2013

Install with lever handle in the front

Can I install the faucet with the level handle in the front instead of to the right? If yes, would it change the location of the blue light for the touch2o motion?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9159T-DST can be turned so the handle is in the front. However, the blue light will also move. Also, the hot and cold will be side to side to operate.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9159T-DST has a light that turns red when the batteries are low. If the batteries are not changed, the faucet will stop working. After replacing the batteries, the light should turn blue again.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9159T-DST swivels 360 degrees but only the spout swivels. The base does not swivel. However, the pull-down hose is 62 inches long so it should reach all our your sinks.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9959T-DST has a handle range of approximatley 90 degrees. It also only has a forward rotation so that it doesn't hit the backsplash.

What is the height of the handle from the countertop?

We have a breakfast bar behind our sink. The clearance to the backsplash at the countertop is 2.5 inches, which is sufficient for the Trinsic faucet. However, there is a half inch overhang from the breakfast bar. This overhang begins at 5 inches above the countertop. Consequently, the clearance is only 2 inches at that overhang. Will this interfere with the operation of the handle?

Trinsic 9959-DST

I'd like to install the Trinsic 9959-DST bar faucet in my kitchen. I have a 3 hole sink. What model escutcheon should I use?

I have an escutcheon for my current faucet and want to know if I'll be able to use it. The current faucet base has a 2 inch diameter. What's the base of the 9959-DST? Are there other factors in selecting the appropriate escutcheon? Thickness? I don't know what brand or style the existing escutcheon is. See photo.

Thanks.
