Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this faucet I remodeled my kitchen years ago when the pull-down type first came out and I couldn't afford it. Recently my pull-out spray faucet sprung an unfixable leak and I finally got the Leland Pull-down. I love the pull-down much better than the pull-out and I had it installed with the handle on the left (I'm left-handed and this feels more comfortable). When I use it on full, it doesn't back-spray me like the other faucet did. The only problem is that it has a slow drip in the off position. I've tried turning on the hot then cold, turning it off between but can't seem to find the spot that will turn off the drip. I've only had it a few days and my husband seems to think it will resolve itself. I hope he's right. June 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Customer Service Faucet was installed by my builder as part of construction on our new home. Flow rate seemed unacceptably low, but builder was unable to resolve. Sent an email to Delta and IMMEDIATELY got a reply from someone who obviously knew their product and did what I would expect all companies should do in customer service. None of those annoying phone mazes (push 2 for this or 5 for that) where you get untrained people who have no product knowledge, seem like they reading from a script and apparently have no authority to resolve an issue like so many other companies. The person who replied to me asked some key questions and for some additional information. They were able to quickly resolve a problem the builder could not. VERY satisfied with the overall experience. March 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb Faucet! I just installed this myself today. It was probably one of the easiest faucet installs I have ever done! The directions were simple and I appreciated that tools came with it! The BIGGEST headache with any plumbing job is making the final connections. There is nothing more frustrating that LEAKS! All the connections on this faucet were quick and simple. I noticed in another comment that someone had a problem with the flex hose connection coming apart. The directions are VERY specific as to how this is to be made - even showing 3 ways NOT to do it. All I can say is, "Your on your own pal for if you don't follow the instructions!" In closing, the is the first job where my use of "plumbers language" was at an all time low! ;-) GREAT PRODUCT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! September 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy After using other brands for 15 years and constantly replacing parts, we went to a bath & kitchen store. They recommended this faucet and we do love it. The others were wobbly, started leaking quickly, water spotted quickly. This Delta faucet does none of those things. We love the pull down sprayer. It did take a while to get used to the handle on the side, which I really didn't want. However, it's fine now that I have used it a while. I definitely do NOT want a faucet that regulates water temperature. I can set my own water heater. My only complaint is the registration process on the website, which is quite user unfriendly. It keeps saying I have no registered products and didn't recognize my email address. Yet I received this request to review my registered product. June 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best kitchen faucet we ever owned! Thoroughly researched kitchen faucets and chose this one especially because of the diamond seal technology that does not allow leakage (leakage is why we needed a new faucet). It is very easy to install and it is very elegant in appearance. The high arching pull down spray is great for washing large kitchenware (also great for washing watermelons). There is nothing we don't like about this faucet. If you are building a house or replacing your kitchen faucet, do yourself a favor and purchase this faucet. You'll enjoy it. August 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks great with quality features. I tried several different faucets to compare with Delta's Leland. I found many that had difficulty with the pull down spray and others that did not have the features that came with Delta. I've always liked the lifetime warranty that comes with the Delta faucet. The Leland has a very smooth pull down spray and I am thrilled the way it returns and stays with the magnet. I also really like the button on the faucet to change from stream to spray. I hope to have this working great for many years to come. July 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy with this faucet We're happy with the finish, design, and performance of this faucet. Since we just had it installed, the jury's still out on its performance over time. Would recommend. June 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Can't select the right temperature on 19939 or 9178 A good Engineer tests their design to ensure it works before going to production. These guys didn't. When fully on, the throw from hot to cold is about 2". You would think that would be adequate, but it isn't enough to get the temperature you want. It is either too hot or too cold. If you try for lower flow, say 1/2 throttle, and then go forward or back to get less flow, it actually shuts almost off at the middle of the setting. May 13, 2014

You can clean any of the parts on your Delta kitchen faucet with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water.

Reversibility

The staff’s answer to the question of installing the Delta 9178 SS DST backwards so the handle is on the left says the logo will be facing the back. There is no logo showing on the Delta website photo of the faucet. Also, do I assume correctly that this reversibility to the Delta 9178 AR DST as well since the "AR" refers to the finish?

Hi JC, Thank you for your question!
The 9178-AR-DST ( Arctic Stainless Steel finish) has the Delta name engraved on the bottom of the spout where it swivels. The faucet can be installed with the handle facing the left hand side. Please keep in mind that will change the operation of the handle.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your question. Our Diamond Seal Technology (DST) faucets have PEX supply lines. These eliminate the need for additional riser hoses and provide for easier installation and fewer leak points.

Venetian Bronze Color

Does the Venetian Bronze faucet coordinate with oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware?

Answer:
Hello Sophie,

Thanks for your question!

It's always a good idea to take the cabinet hardware and other accessories to a Delta Faucet showroom to see if your chosen hardware will match the faucet and vice versa. The color of the hardware will ultimately depend on the manufacturer, so we couldn't say if it would definitely match. However, Venetian Bronze would probably match an oil rubbed bronze finish, but whether or not it looks good together is ultimately up to you.

I hope this helps!
