Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 101 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great faucet! The finish does not exactly match the regular stainless steel like our appliances. I wish Delta would do a better job of explaining (on their website) about the differences and appearance between the "Arctic Stainless" and the regular "Stainless Steel" finishes. I probably would have ordered a different model based on the appearance. It works flawlessly and is a great design but I wish there was a way to enlarge the aerator opening. The button to increase the water flow still does not provide enough flow to adequately flush the garbage disposal. This isn't a criticism of the faucet but acknowledging the reality that everyone's water pressure isn't the same. March 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product I had to replace a faucet we had originally installed when the house was built ten years ago. I've never installed a faucet before but felt confident with the instructions. I did make one mistake but a trip to Home Depot resolved that issue. I find the new Delta faucet performed much better than the previous faucet. Giving dishes a rinse with this faucet is much easier. Food comes off the dishes quickly before placing them into the dishwasher. One thing I did find is that I have to keep an eye on the faucet and make sure I've completely turned it off. A few times I've noticed I left the faucet running because the handle was not turned all the way back to the off position. This is a design issue I noticed. Other than that this faucet works great. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great faucet but... I got this faucet and had it installed in the fall of 2015. I have been very happy with it overall but have several concerns: I can't regulate the temperature from hot to cold very well and it is frustrating. Also, the handle is now very loose and needs to be fixed. It looks like there are some set screws that need to be tightened but I don't understand why it happened. I really love the way it looks in my kitchen and hope that perhaps both things can be resolved. April 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Great. Love the design. Better than anything we have owned. This is a well designed faucet, with durable craftsmanship. We are impressed yes, a faucet that has a water saving feature and also the sprayer will not have to be adjusted every time. The pull out sprayer has a magnetic piece, so when done it slides easily back in place. See what you think after reviewing Delta's online product video's about this faucet. December 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Design - nice function This is a great faucet. The design is appealing, it is tall so you are not banging glasswear on the nozzle. I also love the magnetic return of the shower head. My only complaint is that if you are not careful to push the handel all the way to the close position you are left with a thin stream of water running. The shutoff valve should be more effective. March 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Quality Side handle is a little awkward at first and takes a little bit of getting used to but the longer we have it the better we like it. The old one was a single center handle. March 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitchen faucet My husband installed this in our kitchen. I absolutely love it. Easy to use lever when you have dirty hands. Slick and beautiful! November 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great faucet! Makes kitchen clean up easier and the design looks super! January 19, 2014

Scalding prevention

I have the Delta Addison 9192-dst faucet in my kitchen and when the handle is all the way to hot, the water is scalding. Is there a way to adjust this to prevent scalding like the faucets in my tub?

Answer:
Hi Jay, Thank you for your question!

The 9192-DST single handle kitchen faucet includes an integrated handle limit stop that has two positions. Position 1, to the left, allows full handle motion (the full range between "all cold" to "all hot"). The faucet is set in position 1 in the factory. Position 2, to the right, allows half of the normal handle motion ("all cold" to "mixed hot/cold").

The handle limit stop can be adjusted by the homeowner once the faucet is installed. Setting the handle limit stop in position 2 may help to prevent scalding because it limits the amount of hot water in the mix; however, this handle limit stop will not always prevent scalding because it does not compensate for incoming pressure or sudden water temperature changes.

Answer:
Hi Marilyn,

Thank you for your question. The handle can be reattached by tightening the set screw located under the red/blue button cover with a 1/8" Allen wrench. Please refer to page 10 of the instructions for more information (link below).

Question about escutcheon installation instructions

The installation instructions say that, if used, the cover plate and escutcheon should be installed in place of the single hole trim ring. If I take that literally, it says that I should still use the gasket and base ring, along with the under cover plate and escutcheon. However, a test-fit of the parts indicates that the under cover plate will not lay flat on the surface of the sink mounting area if I place it on top of the gasket and base ring. I am assuming, then, that when I install the cover plate and escutcheon, I do it in place of the base ring, gasket, and trim ring. Is this correct, or am I supposed to also use the base ring and gasket along with the cover plate and escutcheon (or maybe use only the gasket with the cover plate and escutcheon)?

Hi KrisG, Thank you for your question. The RP50815 aerator on the model 9192-DST is a ful flow aerator. Unfortunately the parts that control the water flow are internal parts to the wand assembly and cannot be removed.

What height is the handle from the counter top.

I plan on installing this faucet in front of a window which has a sill. I'm nervous that there will not be enough clearance.

Answer:
Hi GB, Thank you for your question. The measurement from the deck to the top of the handle on the model 9192-AR-DST is approximately 10-1/2". We recommend having a minimum of 2-1/2" from the faucet centers to the back splash.
Thanks,
Dave

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9192-RB-DST can be switched to the other side and the water lines reversed. You may also leave the water lines in the same place and operate it the opposite way.

I'm reading in specs for DeLuca, Arabella, Leland and Trinsic that they do not have a adjustable flow rate. What does that mean?

I have a Delta shower faucet that's either on full blast or off. Is that how these kitchen faucets are?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The only way to control the volume flow is with the on/off handle. We do offer a couple of faucets that you can increase the flow rate temporarily by toggling a switch like the Addison. It will flow normally at 1.5 gpm at 60 psi but by toggling the switch, you can increase the flow rate to 2.0 gpm at 60 psi for higher performance.
