Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 77 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Expensive faucet for such random functionality I purchased this faucet one year ago and had great luck for the first 6 months. I have done the troubleshooting suggestions to no avail. I wish I had read all of these reviews before purchasing. The touch feature of the faucet worked beautifully then began to act up, sporadically turning on and off, turning on when no one is near it, won't turn on at all when touched, etc. The red low battery indicator light has never come on, but I have changed the batteries several times hoping that may help. At this point I have simply taken the batteries out to save my frustration. I love the look of the faucet, but this was a very expensive faucet to simply work as a "normal" faucet. November 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful faucet, "touch" is a bothersome gimmick. The faucet is beautiful. The "touch" feature is just a bother. I never use it. I just use the faucet by turning on the water the usual way, however when I do that, the water keeps turning off. I paid a lot of extra money for this feature as it sounded like a good idea. I'm taking out the batteries and will just use the faucet without the "touch" feature. So - I would buy a Delta faucet again, just not with the gimmick of "touch". I have other Delta faucets in my house that have been there for 15 years and are still in great condition. It was very difficult to install. November 11, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Giving up Installed a new unit in a customers home and the touch did not work at all. Got a replacement unit and my client is now reporting that it turns off and on by itself and even turns on sporadically when they open the dishwasher. At a point, a poorly engineered product actually ends up costing a contractor an operating loss and that is the situation we have here. I have another client who ordered one for installation in the next few weeks and we are going to recommend they return it or hire someone else to install and endure the headaches. July 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Worked for a while Love the idea - just wish it worked. This faucet was installed about 10 months ago when our kitchen was remodeled. It worked for about 8 months then started dying down to small trickle of water. Installed new batteries but same issue started again. We even bought more batteries, but same thing. Occasionally happening then more and more until it won't work at all now. You can hear it running but just drips of water come out. Negative feature is you can't choose to use it manually with the handle. If the batteries die or it malfunctions, you're out-of-luck and water. I didn't expect to pay over $400 and only be able to use this faucet for 8-9 months. The design, appearance, ease of use (when working) is very good. Just doesn't perform as it should and not for as long as it should. May 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Replacement Install We just installed this faucet and so far are quite pleased with the finish, quality and performance. However, I would like to see an option or accessory that offers a transformer/rechargable battery pack as a replacement for the standard battery pack, as the cable on the pack is too short and I have to get on my knees to access it under the sink. With an optional transformer/rechargable battery pack I would not have to be concerned about having spare batteries and would have a battery backup if the power fails. February 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Faucet randomly turns on and off? I bot 2 of the Delta D9992TARDST touch faucets and one works great and the other randomly goes on and off ? This has been occurring for about a year now and we've changed batteries multiple times on the questionable unit but never changed the batteries on the other unit? We've unplugged and replugged the battery lead into the solenoid several times and a day or two later - same result...faucet running on and off randomly. Since one unit works great, my builder is at a loss for ideas. Any advice? December 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful faucet - needs more time in R&D Touch technology may need some more time in the lab for testing. This is a beautiful faucet, love the finish and the nozzle. However, the touch thingee has never worked consistently despite the long time under the sink, ensuring it was properly installed. The water keeps turning on or off as we place items by it. Sometimes, even when in the other room, it just turns on. Freaks out the dog! Anyway, will take a part, repackage and head back to the store as we only had it for three months. September 30, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Warm water would be a good thing This faucet does not provide warm water except at the highest pressure (at which point water splashes all over the counters). You can reliably get just hot or just cold at any pressure, but no warm. I had a plumber in to check it, and he said it was because of the touch on feature, and there was no way to adjust it. I am now looking for a way to turn it back into a regular manually operated faucet so that I can have warm water again. March 25, 2014

Hi Chris, Thank you for your question!
You can unscrew hose from spray head and clean debris
from screen - the screen is located just inside the
spray wand where the hose would thread into the wand.

Hi mav,

Thank you for your question! If your unit was manufactured after in 2015 or later, the EP73954 power supply can be used with your faucet.

http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairpa...

If your unit was manufactured prior to 2015, you will first need the EP74852 solenoid assembly, which will allow you to connect the AC adapter.

Answer:
Hi Kev, Thank you for your question. The larger button on your model 9192T-AR-DST faucet toggles the water between the stream and spray settings. The smaller button boosts the flowrate from 1.5 gpm to 2.0 gpm in the stream mode.

Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. Please check the LED wire for a strong connection where it plugs into the solenoid valve. Also make sure the wire is not pinched between the sink and mounting hardware. If you continue to have issues please contact our toll free Helpline at 1-800-345-3358 for further assistance.

What would cause a drop in water presssure on hot side only?

We have noticed a recent drop (50%) in pressure on the hot side. We pulled the connector to the cut-off and did not find any sediment particles clogging at that point. Are there any other internal filters to clean besides at the sprayer head?

Love the faucet, just a little irritated at the super low flow.

Answer:
Hi Del, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your model 9192T-RB-DST faucet. There is a debris screen in the solenoid valve that can be removed and cleaned. I have attached the a picture below that shows this process. Since the drop in pressure is only affecting the hot water you will want to verify that the 2 check valves supplied with the faucet are attached to your supply stops/shut off valves. You may also pull the RP50587 valve assembly/cartridge and make sure that it is clean and free from debris.
Thanks,
Dave

Someone commented that the faucet does not work without the battery. Is that true? Can it be used manually without battery?

Before purchasing, I just want to confirm that this faucet will work like the one without the touch feature if we chose not to use it. Can I use it manually without a battery?
