Addison Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O® Technology 4.1 5 32 32
Beautiful faucet, "touch" is a bothersome gimmick. The faucet is beautiful. The "touch" feature is just a bother. I never use it. I just use the faucet by turning on the water the usual way, however when I do that, the water keeps turning off. I paid a lot of extra money for this feature as it sounded like a good idea. I'm taking out the batteries and will just use the faucet without the "touch" feature. So - I would buy a Delta faucet again, just not with the gimmick of "touch". I have other Delta faucets in my house that have been there for 15 years and are still in great condition. It was very difficult to install. November 11, 2012
Replacement Install We just installed this faucet and so far are quite pleased with the finish, quality and performance. However, I would like to see an option or accessory that offers a transformer/rechargable battery pack as a replacement for the standard battery pack, as the cable on the pack is too short and I have to get on my knees to access it under the sink. With an optional transformer/rechargable battery pack I would not have to be concerned about having spare batteries and would have a battery backup if the power fails. February 25, 2013
One year in use I'm on my third set of batteries. When the batteries fail the faucet stops working. The LED has never worked. The main problem is the water temperature is difficult to adjust. April 27, 2012
The style and finish compliment the entire kitchen decor It's not only the style of the faucet and the ease of use with the touch activation and swivel feature, but, the eco features are a major plus. Living in the desert where water restrictions are a summer requirement you're already ahead of the game knowing that every time you use this faucet you're saving water. A feature not listed is Peace of mind, just knowing it's a Delta. January 28, 2013
Very convinient to use and keeps our counters dry. Initially we had a concern when our newly installed faucet would only turn off/on by touch when the water was hot. Delta sent us a new controller assembly that I installed this morning, the faucet has performed perfectly ever since. The faucet is very well designed and made of rugged materials. April 20, 2013
Love it, hope it's not broken! It's been a year and never had to change batteries. Having trouble with no water coming out now. Changed batteries, worked for a second, then nothing. Followed Touch 2-0 disable instructions for now. Will report back. I know we will miss the touch ability if I can't get this thing working. May 29, 2012
Beautiful faucet - needs more time in R&D Touch technology may need some more time in the lab for testing. This is a beautiful faucet, love the finish and the nozzle. However, the touch thingee has never worked consistently despite the long time under the sink, ensuring it was properly installed. The water keeps turning on or off as we place items by it. Sometimes, even when in the other room, it just turns on. Freaks out the dog! Anyway, will take a part, repackage and head back to the store as we only had it for three months. September 30, 2013
Good looking faucet but............ I bought this product because it's a good looking faucet offering the Touch2O® Technology. I've had this faucet for 5 months. It would be a great faucet if the Touch2O® Technology would work properly. The problem I am having is it randomly turns itself on. We leave the handle on the "on" position all the time. We turn or turn off the faucet with a simple tap on the faucet (this is the Touch2O® Technology). At times, the faucet will turn itself on when no one is in the kitchen. I thought maybe static in the air was the culprit but the Delta Support Rep I spoke to on the phone said it wasn't. With her guidance I checked the wiring connections underneath the sink. I was asked to ensure a yellow grounding wire coming from the solenoid assembly was attached correctly (see page 27 in Delta Quick Start Guide), It was. However, I did notice that the yellow wire does rub against the faucet hose and/or the steel weight assembly when the hose is pulled out of the faucet. The position of the yellow grounding wire is moved when the hose is pulled. I periodically have to look under the sink to ensure this yellow wire hasn't moved. Very inconvenient. The problem has subsided but hasn't completely gone away. We now keep the faucet handle off all the time and have to manually turn it on and off....completely voids the Touch2O® Technology I paid for. April 15, 2013

Can the handle be installed so it is on the left?

I have the habit of turning the water on and off with my left hand. Can this faucet be installed with the handle on the left?

Answer:
Hi Suzy, Thank you for your question. The model 9192T-DST can be installed with the handle of the left as the spout moves a full 360 degrees. The LED indicator in the base will be facing to the back instead of to the front and the handle will work hot to the front and cold to the back. You can switch the supply lines to have cold to the front and hot to the back.
Thanks,
Dave

How long is the warranty on the Addison & Trinsic Touch2O kitchen faucets?

Your website and the specification sheets indicate a lifetime warranty, however I've seen a five year warranty shown in other downloads/parts of your website. Which is it? Thank you.

Answer:
Hi Donna,

Thanks for contacting Delta Faucet. It sounds like your shut off valves have some type of line attached to them that prevents the pex lines from being attached. I'll reach out to you via email so to get a better understanding of what you are experiencing. Thanks.

Instruction manual available?

I have the Quick Start Guide but that doesn't cover how to actually use the faucet (i.e., which part to touch, does the handle stay open or closed in order for touch to work, etc.). The faucet was installed a few days ago by a professional plumber and even he didn't know how to work it. An instruction manual would be terrific.

Answer:
Thank you for your quesiton. Delta Faucet model # 9192T-DST can be used next to a filtering faucet as long as any electricity or wires that are used are not near the faucet. They could set the faucet in motion if they come in contact with each other without you touching the faucet.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9192T-SS-DST is run by 6 AA batteries. When the light blinks red, it means that your batteries are getting low and need to be changed. If your light stays red and your water is off, then your valve will not work any more. If your light turns red while the water is running, the faucet will only work in a manual mode until the batteries are changed.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9192T-SS-DST has a button that will change the faucet from spray to stream and it will stay in that position until you toggle it to the other position. It also has a toggle to increase the flow rate of the water from 1.5 gpm at 60psi to 2.0 gpm at 60psi and that will go back to the normal 1.5 gpm when you turn the faucet off.

Turning Touch 20 Feature on and off

I have occasion to have people come over and share the kitchen while we cook together. I would like to have the flexibility to have the Touch20 available for my own use but to be able to disable it (and still, obviously, use the faucet) when I am entertaining. 1) Can you tell me how to disable the feature as needed and then to re-enable it? 2) Is there a place online that has instructions on how to disable and then re-enable the feature?

Answer:
Thank you for your question! Below is a link to the Maintenance and Installation guide for Delta Faucet model #9192T-DST. Page 14 discusses the process to manually bypass the electronic feature. 1) Remove the battery pack from the battery cable. 2) Momentarily connect the "+" terminal of the battery to the "-" terminal of the solenoid and the "-" terminal of the battery to the "+" terminal of the solenoid. Note: Do not maintain this connection for more than
a few seconds. 3) Disconnect the electronics module from the installation by releasing tabs. 4) Leave the valve body in place. 5) Disconnect the two spade contacts black wire "-" and
red wire “+” from the solenoid body. 6) Check to see if the faucet now operates in the manual mode.
