Great Function & Design
The Pilar single handle pulldown with Touch20 technology is one of the best faucets in the market today. Not only have the great functionality of a pulldown but it has the added benefit of the touch technology. Any time your hands are too messy to touch the handle, all it takes is a small tap to start and stop the water. Perfection!! The sleek and simple design works with many different kitchen styles but will always look in style, no matter what the trend. All in all, it is an amazing faucet!!

A Must in any Kitchen
This faucet is a must for anyone who loves to cook. Just being
able to touch the faucet and it turns on is amazing technology.
It's great to have my hands free while I am preparing my food.

Great product so far
I just installed this faucet with our new granite counters. So far, this has been a great product. It works exactly as advertised without any problems. I read numerous reviews on this faucet because of its touch technology before I purchased it. So far I have not encountered any of the problems that some have run into.
Pros: Great looking faucet with a nice stainless finish. It does not show fingerprints or smudges like a chrome faucet.
Good style with a nice long reach and high spout. This allows easy washing of food and dishes. Make sure that you take the depth and height into consideration and match them to your sink.
The Touch Technology works great. You can leave the faucet set on a warm setting and just touch it with your arm and you can wash your hands, rinse off food, or do dishes. We have not had any problems with it yet.
Cons: Not really a negative, but the installation is more complicated than a standard faucet. While there is a diagram of the whole unit assembled, it really takes some time and concentration to make sure that you get it right. Go slow and follow every step exactly. I suspect that people that have had problems with the touch technology missed some of the steps required to insulate the fauceet from the counter and sink.

This product is very well engineered
I installed this faucet (with my wife's assistance) about 6 months ago. It has performed flawlessly ever since. The care in design and workmanship of this product has been apparent from the time I opened the well packed box, to the extremely well documented assembly instruction and ease of assembly. We love the stainless steel finish which looks as good today as it did when we installed it and the touch operation is a dream. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a clean looking design for their kitchen and great performance

Delta thought of everything.
We needed to replace our sink and counter-top, so we removed a perfectly good Delta faucet that we liked in favor of the touch faucet. In addition to being able to just tap the faucet to turn it on and off, you can move the faucet from one side of the sink to the other without triggering it again by just lingering your hand on the faucet an extra second. Delta engineers have obviously given this a lot of thought. Another feature that sold us on the product is the magnetic sprayer head; it is so much better than any of the competition.

Really love this faucet.
This product is awesome. I really like the sleek design and features it offers. The artic stainless steel is also very pretty. However, I could not find any documentation that informed me how to clean the faucet. This would have been helpful.

This product has changed my life.
I want to rave about this product!! We love it! I sell plumbing supplies and I hate to have call backs or product issues. I can honestly say that I have never had a complaint about the functionality or installation. Customers tell me that they love the ease of use and installers tell me it was much easier than they had first though. I have one in my own home as well and I can't believe how much of a difference it makes in my everyday life, and the lives of my customers.

the finish is absolutely beautiful. It is easy a great asset to any kitchen
It is so easy to use. Hands free mode is wonderful for anyone
especially those who work a lot in the kitchen. The Arctic Stainless finish is a great match to stainless accessories.
Wipes clean easily with a soft cloth or sponge.

When we turn the water on there is a lot of noise and some vibration and the water flow is slow.
I have checked the water valves and they are wide open. I also took the faucet head off but the problem still occurs so I do no think the problem is with the aerator or anything else in the faucet head.

The sprayer does not connect soundly to the pilar

Additional information about Cleo could not be loaded.
I am trying to install the "single lever pilar touch pull down kitchen faucet" 72807. There is no click or device to hold the sprayer into the pilar. How is it suppose to lock in when not being used as a hand held sprayer?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 980T-SS-DST has a sprayer that is held in place with MagnaTite docking. There is a magnet inside the sprayer and another one inside the spout that get locked together to hold the sprayer in place.Skill Level: Advanced

This faucet no longer works correctly. It will not turn on when touch our use lever.
It makes a rumbling noise instead. We can jiggle wires and get it to work at times, but it continues to not work the next time we need it. I have read reviews on-line, and MANY people have had this same issue with faucet. What is wrong with it? And can it be connected to just operate as a normal faucet without the touch mechanism that seems to be made very poorly. Our faucet is less than 2 years old and should not be causing so many problems.

Why has my hot water reduced to a trickle while the cold water is still full pressure?
Have owned the faucet for nearly two years. It has worked fine up until recently. The hot water pressure to the rest of the house is strong. The batteries are good. I've switched it to manual mode. Trying to decide my next step.

Easy to fix. You have debris clogging up the hot water line. Has happened to me several times. Just turn off the hot water under the sink. Then, there is a cylindrical copper piece about an inch long (pressure regulator i think) attached to the shutoff, and plastic hose after that. Disconnect the plastic hose from the copper piece, then remove the copper piece (both get removed with a crescent wrench). Look at the copper piece. It will have tons of crystals blocking the entrance that you can get out with a toothpick. Clean in, and reinstall.Age: 45 to 54

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 980T-DST has an LED indicator to tell you what is going on with the batteries.Warning Mode-Replace batteries soon. Rather than the blue led, the red led will be illuminated when the water is on. When the water is off, the red led will flash once every 5 seconds.
Alert Mode-Battery Failure Imminent. The red led will flash once a second. the first time the faucet is used, the red led will turn on, the solenoid will be opened, and the manual valve must be used until the batteries are replaced.
Lackdown Mode-Replace Batteries.The red led is on and water will not flow until the batteries are replaced.
