Best Faucet EVER
After several weeks of reading reviews, I decided to take the plunge and get this faucet. I had originally seen it at a home improvement store and thought it was awfully expensive, but I really wanted it! I found it online MUCH cheaper..less than half the price the home improvement store wanted!
I read HUNDREDS of reviews on several different sites and was a little leary but thought "what if it works as advertised?". I am SO GLAD I bought this faucet!!!!!!!!!! I love to cook and bake and during the holidays I bake tons of cookies and other goodies to give as gifts. This faucet made all that cooking and baking so much easier! The ease of not having to touch the handle when my hands were covered in dough etc was GREAT! I also love that my fiance, who is the messiest grown up I know doesn't leave the handle all yucky now!
The only issue I had was the light wasn't working at first. I called Delta and the person told me to pull the little jack like thing out of the solenoid and reinstall and it worked! I have not had to change the batteries yet. I have had this faucet installed about 7 months now!!
EVERYONE that comes to my house and sees the faucet loves it! I think it is a MUST HAVE for avid cooks and bakers and anyone who wants to lessen the risk of spreading germs from icky raw meat! Not having to touch a handle means less transfer of icky germs!!!!
I also love the spray feature, I use a lot less dish soap now, the spray function really makes the soap suds up!
If you are on the fence about this faucet GET ONE. I am sure you will love it as much as I do!! It is SO WORTH every penny.
It is also a very attractive design. It wipes clean very easily..mine is brilliant stainless so water spots dont really show on it.

Love this faucet!
Installed faucet in 2009 and until today never had a problem. We called Delta and they are shipping part to fix problem - slow water flow. I would not trade this faucet as it is so convenient to use, especially when you have touched raw meat and want to activate the faucet without touching it.
Delta help line has always been responsive and knowledgeable; I am satisfied with both the service and the product.

Best faucet ever!
This faucet not only looks fantastic but is great when preparing food. No need to worry about contaminating the faucet handle because you can simply touch it with the back of your hand.

If I could do it over again
I regret buying and installing this faucet and, unforutnately, had my new granite drilled specifically for the on/off lever and spout. I like the look of the faucet and the magnetic hold on the sprayer. But, I have had it for several months and the touch on/off has NEVER worked properly, and half the time there was no water and no way to "activate" it. Finally decided to ship it back and they make it so difficult that you won't want to bother. Plus, I would have an extra hole in my granite due to the control!! Finally, deactivated the "touch" and use as a regular faucet.Certainly could have purchased another faucet with similar look, no hassle and would have saved a great deal of money.

I got this unit(Pilar H2o Technologies faucet 2 months ago. I even installed it by myself in my new kitchen with a little help from the Delta web side.It works great until now .My wife love me for that.It is so easy to use .I am thinking to purchase a other one made specially for the bathroom only.If Delta has something alike .please let me know.Thank again.

Fabulous Delta Faucet
Love the ability to tap the neck or handle to shut off the water and then another tap to return to water.....especially when preparing food with messy hands. My elbow or wrist tap enabled the system. So easy and beautiful to look at too.

I love the touch 2/0 faucet. You need to leave it on all the time so you don't run your battery dead. I have been remodeling and it has been a great help to not have to use the handle to turn it on.

Nice faucet,I just wished it would work without batteries. When the batteries go dead the faucet should still functiion in a manual mode.

Hi Kevin,To change the batteries on this and any other touch faucet, unplug the wire on the battery box that has what looks like a 9 volt battery connection and replace the batteries. Be sure to leave the battery box unplugged for a full minute and plug back in.

Either hot or cold, no lukewarm

I'm finding that it is very difficult to get lukewarm temperature, either it is very hot or ice cold. Water pressure for both are fine. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made to the cartridge, and how would I do it?

Can the Touch tech be bypassed to manual?
Can the Touch technology be bypassed to a manual mode? this is for times where the batteries have died, but we still need to run the faucet as a standard setup until new batteries are available.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 980T-SSSD-DST can be switched to a manual mode as long as you do it while the faucet is running. While the water is running, remove the batteries and it will be switched.However, if the batteries completely die before you can switch it over, the faucet will not work until the batteries are replaced.

Installed on Tuesday-touch quit working on Friday

We bought the Pilar because of pull down and touch and the touch feature quit working after three days. The touch turns the blue light on and off but not the water. Water is only off and on with the lever. Any ideas? I have called the plumbing supply store where I bought it and they installed it but don't have a reply yet.

Is the spout supposed to rotate 360 degrees?

I believe I followed the installation instructions completely and the spout rotates 360 degrees. I thought it would only rotate 180 degrees like other faucets I've installed in kitchens.

Cannot turn handle to the left all of a sudden!?

I'm baffled. My faucet has worked problem-free for 2 years. Then yesterday while washing dishes, I noticed the handle had become loose, so I tightened it. When I did, the handle locked up and stopped turning to the left. It can turn on and be lukewarm or cold, but not hot! I loosened the handle again to see if it would work again, but it doesn't. How do I fix this!

My faucet is leaking...
We've had this faucet for about 6 months. It has inconsistently operated during this entire time, sometimes working perfectly and then going through spells of random performance...whether turning on and off by itself or not responding to touches for on or off. We have followed instructions to troubleshoot and it doesn't seem to make a difference....randomly the faucet will begin to work again. Yesterday we discovered the faucet was leaking under the cabinet, it appears to be leaking from the handle area and it appears to have been leaking for a while. My husband is ready to take it back and forget the touch technology, but I love the feature when it works. However, the faucet is too expensive to have this many issues. Solution?

Water opens and closes by it self
