Worst fears have come true
We installed this faucet in Dec. 2009. Other than needing to change the battery after 2 years have not had any problem, but now the solenoid stopped working. We've done everything the owners manual says to do and still no working faucet. Can't even get it to convert to manual mode. Now I don't have water in my kitchen. Local stores, including big name home improvement stores, DO NOT carry parts. When the solenoid stops working, it doesn't even respond to the manual override steps. We had a good 2.5 years but for the price we paid, we expected longer duration for the solenoid. If Delta can't satisfactorilly help us fix this, it's back to old fashioned manual faucets again. I guess it was too good to be true. Great when it works, but a disaster when it doesn't.

Touch2O® Technology seems to have issues
I just installed this product yesterday (9/24/2013). It does work but not exactly as advertised e.g. "..Turns on and off with just a touch anywhere on the spout or handle". Turning the faucet off or on is inconsistent at best. The spout does not seem to be sensitive enough to the touch to operate reliably however, the handle is somewhat better.
I thought it might be low batteries but I get a blue light which I believe indicates the power level is adequate. I also practiced the "tap" rather than the "grasp" touch but again inconsistent. Some parts of the spout do not activate the solenoid at all.
Is there a way to increase the sensitivity?
I would appreciate any assistance you could provide.

Great faucet & great support!
We did a whole house remodel in 2009 and one of my "presents" to myself was this faucet #saw the first commercial for it as we were discussing the kitchen and immediately wanted it#. It has been a godsend when needing to turn on the water with either extremely filthy hands or hands that were full. We've had a couple of issues with the solenoid#s# going bad #we just ordered our 2nd in 3 years# but Delta has been extremely helpful everytime I've called - from detailed instructions to quick service. We have changed the batteries twice #with the 1st solenoid replacement a new battery pack was sent replacing C cell with D cell batteries# and I would definately purchase another Delta Touch2O faucet in the future!

Okay, but wish it sprayed down straight and not outward
My husband loves the touchless feature, but it doesn't work well when wearing kitchen gloves. The black at the bottom edge luckily matches my black granite. The soap dispenser stopped working and Delta sent a replacement insert that wasn't this exact product, so it was useless. The faucet sprays outward instead of down. If I'm rinsing, myself and the counter get soaked if the sprayer is completely up. To get around this, I leave the sprayer hanging 6 inches lower so it sprays straight down. This makes it look like the faucet pull-down sprayer is broken. I'm looking into replacing this faucet.

I purchased this product not only for its convenience but for the fact that I can turn on and off the flow of water using only the back of my hand or forearm. This was very important to my wife and I as we were always worried about cross-contamination when cleaning a turkey or chicken at the sink and using our hands to turn on and off the water, This product has eliminated that problem by letting us use the back of our hand or forearm
.I have been using this faucet since early 2010 and have never had a problem with it, never even having to change the batteries yet.

Solenoid does not work after 3 years, shoddy performance throughout
A pretty product in good color (Arctic Stainless), but...
After 3 years, I have a faucet that does not output water consistently. Groans and sputters terribly. Have replaced the valve cartridge. Have attempted manual-only setup. Next up is the consideration of the solenoid replacement, the cost of which makes me consider a new faucet from a different brand, to be honest.
During its lifetime of 3 years, the touch mechanics have been frustrating, seeming to turn on/off on its own. Manually turning on the faucet typically requires a second touch to restart. Been that way since original installation.
I would love to know if there are troubleshooting tips before replacing the solenoid or buying a different faucet.

Love the functionality and look - mechanics a bit clunky
The faucet has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. After two years I have two criticisms. First, the mechanical parts under the sink have a very "unfinished" feel - there are wires and connections which feel haphazard. The unit should really have a more finished design for under the sink. The other criticism is with the sprayer. The sprayer/diffuser (the rubberized piece which is responsible for creating spray) has failed and needs to be replaced. This won't be a big deal to fix but I expected it to last a bit longer. Still, love the faucet and would purchase again.

Forget the handle
The technology is very simple and effective for in home use. As you become use to this a soft touch to turn it on and off you will laugh at sinks without the faucet. The Touch 2O has a nice design esthetically and has earned a place in our home as a required item. From the youngest to the oldest we all enjoy the change this product has brought into our lives. As you start to use the faucet you find yourself touching other faucets only to realize they have to be turned on and adjusted every time. Touch 2O is the only style of faucet we will put in our kitchen from now on.
