Allora Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet 3 5 13 13
This faucet has a great design, has drip issue We are having the same issue as this previous reviewer...The Faucet has a nice design and features but it is hard to close the water fully. For some reason it needs to be close on a very specific way so it does not drip. It started to do this about 2 years ago.. May 29, 2013
The faucet looks great! But where it connect on the bottom explodes! I love the look of the faucet! and it works great until you turn on the water a few times!! That little plastic thing that is supposed to hold the two ends together doesnt! Under pressure it explodes and I've got a wet cabinet!! April 23, 2014
not what I expected Great faucet, won't retract without some help. the weight is on there unobstructed, still needs help retracting. I would not buy this again April 29, 2013
Leaky faucet Faucet is less than 3 years old and it leaks more and more each day :( very sorry now that I chose this one, February 14, 2014
Leaky Faucet - Allora The Faucet has a nice design and features but it has been three years since I installed it and it is hard to close the water fully. For some reason it needs to be close on a very specific way so it does not drip. it started to do this about 2 years ago.. It was fine before but know I have to be careful how I close it so it does not drip water. My husband has replaced all the gaskets multiple times and still the problem comes back after a few months of use. The seals just seem to wear out then the leaking starts again. May 12, 2013
Love the look, not the durability I had this faucet professionally installed 2years ago. I loved it, but 2 years later it is a challenge to shut the water off. The handle has to be in the perfect position for the water not to drip or trickle. It is without a doubt frustrating. I have checked all gaskets and adjusted the stop on it, but nothing works. Disappointed in the durability of this product. November 17, 2013
Nice faucet, but leaks This faucet looks great and the pull-down hose is very convenient. Unfortunately I'm having the same issue as the other reviewers. I often have to try 3 or 4 times to get the faucet to actually shut off all the way. Unless you get the handle in exactly the correct position it will continue to run or drip. Frustrating for a three year old faucet. June 15, 2014
Good but... The Faucet has a nice design and features but it has been two years since I installed it and it is hard to close the water fully. For some reason it needs to be close on a very specific way so it does not drip. it started to do this about two months.. It was fine before but know i have to be careful how I close it so it does not drip water. July 25, 2012

Answer:
Thank you for your question. There is a possibility that there is debris in the lines from installing the new water tank. We recommend flushing the lines to try and remove the debris.

2 Questions on Operation

1. Which way do you move the side-mounted lever handle to turn the water ON - Up or Down?

2. Does the pull down spray wand have a water shut-off button? That is, can you shut the water flow completely OFF from the pull down?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 989-AR-DST is turned on by pulling the handle to the side. The water is made hotter by pushing the handle to the back and made colder by pulling it to the front.

The only way to completely shut off the water is to use the handle on the side. The spray wand will switch from spray to stream but not turn the water off completely.

I need a replacement soap bottle for my year old Allora soap dispenser

I heard an unidentifiable thud, and started looking around the kitchen to see if I could find what may have caused the noise. I didn't find anything that night ,however the following morning I did find dish detergent ooze coming out onto the floor in my kitchen. The neck of the plastic bottle that contains the detergent had snapped- off . There does not appear to be a part number on my parts"summary" so that I may purchase the plastic bottle only,as the dispenser is intact ,aside from the now useless plastic. As I currently own 8 Delta faucets, and we are not finished with the remodel, and having displayed such loyalty is there any possiblity that I may obtain another bottle to once again make use of the dispenser? Sometimes service is what separates the A companies from all the rest. Thank you . Vickie Allen
