Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice faucet...great company Installed faucet in 2008. Had several problems in 2014. Dripping and stuck toggle on wand. Company happily sent replacement parts which did the trick. Wife recently complained about the finish chipping and cracking (deteriorating really) at the base. I called service rep who couldn't have been more helpful. They are sending out a replacement part as we speak. In this day and age of poor customer service, I am overwhelmed by getting a human being on the line at 5pm on a Saturday with only one IVR question asked. And she was all about getting it done. Really good products. Really excellent customer service. I am redoing bathroom this winter. Will require Delta products. October 24, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Leaky Faucet - Allora The Faucet has a nice design and features but it has been three years since I installed it and it is hard to close the water fully. For some reason it needs to be close on a very specific way so it does not drip. it started to do this about 2 years ago.. It was fine before but know I have to be careful how I close it so it does not drip water. My husband has replaced all the gaskets multiple times and still the problem comes back after a few months of use. The seals just seem to wear out then the leaking starts again. May 12, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by For the amount of money paid, disappointing performance I have had this faucet for about five years now. I have had to replace the end nozzle four times, I guess because the black button on it that switches betw spray and stream wears out? And now, the flow coming out of the faucet is way down. It is above a trickle but not much more. Plus when I am done with it and return the extended nozzle back to the base, it continues to leak for about another minute. March 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Love the look, not the durability I had this faucet professionally installed 2years ago. I loved it, but 2 years later it is a challenge to shut the water off. The handle has to be in the perfect position for the water not to drip or trickle. It is without a doubt frustrating. I have checked all gaskets and adjusted the stop on it, but nothing works. Disappointed in the durability of this product. November 17, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice faucet, but leaks This faucet looks great and the pull-down hose is very convenient. Unfortunately I'm having the same issue as the other reviewers. I often have to try 3 or 4 times to get the faucet to actually shut off all the way. Unless you get the handle in exactly the correct position it will continue to run or drip. Frustrating for a three year old faucet. June 15, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Prompt customer service Thank you for responding to my request for a new wand. You were fast and efficient. We've had Delta products in the past and came back because of your lifetime guarantee and customer service. The products are great too. Thank you! January 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This faucet is so handy! I purchased this faucet 3 years ago and it still works like new. It is so much easier to use than a faucet with a side spray and the design is superb. June 16, 2012

Hi Smokie, Thank you for your question!
Yes, the O-ring is on the hose where it threads into the back of the spray wand.

Can the handle on the Allora be mounted facing forward?

My wife is left-handed... I am right-handed. If the control handle can be mounted so it faces the the front of the sink, we can both use it with equal ease. But the head must still be able to swing fully to the left, and to the right. Is that possible?

Answer:
Hi Dave,

Thank you for your question. The handle could be mounted toward the front, however the temperature control will be opposite from what is standard. Hot would be on the right and cold on the left. You can correct this by reversing the supply line connections under the sink, but the red/blue button on the handle will not indicate the correct temperature.

Best regards,
Jon

Answer:
Check that neck swivels enough to work that way. I'm thinking it should. If so, then I don't know why you couldn't mount the control handle in the front. We had interference with the window sill over the sink so our control handle is mounted slightly forward and works without a problem.

Thank you for your question. There is a possibility that there is debris in the lines from installing the new water tank. We recommend flushing the lines to try and remove the debris.

2. Does the pull down spray wand have a water shut-off button? That is, can you shut the water flow completely OFF from the pull down?

Down, no the wand doesn't turn off the sprayer. However it does go from a stream to a spray by using the button on the spray head. And it's easy to install.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 989-AR-DST is turned on by pulling the handle to the side. The water is made hotter by pushing the handle to the back and made colder by pulling it to the front.

The only way to completely shut off the water is to use the handle on the side. The spray wand will switch from spray to stream but not turn the water off completely.

I need a replacement soap bottle for my year old Allora soap dispenser

Customer avatar
by

1632 So. Bradford Drive
I heard an unidentifiable thud, and started looking around the kitchen to see if I could find what may have caused the noise. I didn't find anything that night ,however the following morning I did find dish detergent ooze coming out onto the floor in my kitchen. The neck of the plastic bottle that contains the detergent had snapped- off . There does not appear to be a part number on my parts"summary" so that I may purchase the plastic bottle only,as the dispenser is intact ,aside from the now useless plastic. As I currently own 8 Delta faucets, and we are not finished with the remodel, and having displayed such loyalty is there any possiblity that I may obtain another bottle to once again make use of the dispenser? Sometimes service is what separates the A companies from all the rest. Thank you . Vickie Allen
