Delta Soap/Lotion Dispenser 2.4 5 36 36
Started using foam soap!! We purchased the soap dispenser several months ago and had the same issue as several others (would not pump). Today we decided to try the foam soap from Bath and Body and it works!! Several of the gel soaps are too thick to pump. Give it a try:) March 30, 2013
Worked for only 60 days! Purchased this Linden set from Home Depot. A professional plumber installed it. After only 60 days, the "graceful functionality" of this dispenser failed to function. Took the top part and my receipt to Home Depot and was told there was nothing they could do. What a waste of my time and money. Very, very disappointed. February 13, 2013
The pumps must defective I have two of these pumps. Both have stopped working after 6 months. I would like to replace the pump portion but cannot find the part. July 12, 2013
The faucet is good the dispenser is bad I purchased the Linden faucet which I love, and I got the soap dispenser too. I really didn't want the dispenser but it came with the faucet. I had the soap dispenser installed, and it worked great for about 7 months, and after that the darn thing snaps. I checked the dispenser top and it's just cheap plastic which snapped off, and the hose part just slide out. Trying to find a replacement part in a store is becoming impossible. Yah $40 is too much to pay for only the pump part, and then having to pay for shipping. <Sigh> major disappointed. January 6, 2014
Soap dispenser quit working Like other reviewers our soap dispenser also quit working. The plunger needs to be replaced, but I don't see that you can just order that one part. Other than this problem, we love the Delta faucet. We bought this faucet as a kitchen remodel and have delta faucets in all of our bathrooms. This is the only problem we have had. The kitchen faucet is a little over a year old. June 11, 2013
Plastic Bottle broken When I purchased the dispenser I loved the sleek design- our faucet had a built in sprayer, so the empty hole in the sink wasn't attractive. Many of the soap dispensers looked very cheap and were in the same price range as this one. I never filled it with soap because I just like the be able to pour the soap around the sink for cleaning- when I finally did and after I few uses it became really loose at the base. When I looked under the sink the bottle was just kindly hanging on for dear life. The part where the neck of the bottle meets the bottle was completely broken. Not sure if it was a faulty one, didn't see anyone else complain about.... I went to the store I purchased it at, and they no longer carry it :( they only have the cheap ugly ones- go figure (murphy's law). I need it they no longer have it- of course. I thought maybe attach another bottle to it? But. that was a no go either, The broken piece is on there really well and not coming loose. Too bad the entire bottle did not stay on there as well. :( April 12, 2013
Great faucet / poor soap dispenser I have the same issue with the soap dispenser as so many others. I purchased my faucet with soap dispenser for a kitchen remodel. It worked for one year but now will not pump soap. The pump is stuck in the down position. I am very happy with the faucet but apparently the soap dispenser has design flaws or is of poor quality. That is a shame since the Delta name had always been a symbol of quality. October 6, 2013
This soap dispenser came with the delta faucet I bought and broke within a year of installation The top of the dispenser broke off after about 13 months of moderate usage. It is just my wife and myself at home and it broke when she was using it. This is a poor quality product to be sold by delta and I am very disappointed. I have a generic dispenser on my garage sink and it is about 5 years old. May 13, 2014

Which finish is closer to "Brushed Nickel". Stainless or Artic Stanless?

I am trying to match existing Delta Kitchen faucet with replacement Delta soap dispenser for which the spout broke off. This dispenser has a potentially stronger design so the spout will not break off, but is not available in "Brushed Nickel".

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP50781 is available in Champagne Bronze, Artic Stainless, Stainless Steel, Chrome and Venetian Bronze. The Artic Stainless has a bluish tint and most closely resembles the stainless steel applicances in the market today. The Stainless Steel finish has a more gold tint to it and looks a little more brushed than the Artic Stainless.

Answer:
Hi Jeri,

Thanks for your question. The Delta soap dispensers are a durable plastic. The reason being is the plastic will hold up better than the metal against rust.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The difference between Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel is that Artic Stainless more closely matches today stainless steel appliances. It has a bluer tint to the finish and Stainless Steel has a gold tint to the finish.

Can't simply pour soap into top... it just overflows. Do you make some easy way to handle this?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. We do recommend filling your soap dispenser from the top to prevent bottle breakage from taking the bottle on and off. We do offer a funnel that may make it easier when filling your soap dispenser from the top. Delta Faucet model # RP30395 can be purchased at your local retailer or wholesaler.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. All of our soap dispensers are flush with the countertop except for one model. Delta Faucet model # RP47280SS sits on top of the countertop.
