Answer:
Hi Hong, Thank you for your question. The gaskets in the RP41587 plastic pop up drain assembly are not available as a separate item. The RP6310 pivot seal and gasket are used in our all metal, and our 50/50 (top metal, bottom plastic) pop up drain assemblies.
Thanks,
Dave

Do I have to remove the entire sink to use this matching pop-up set in order enough entry into trap collar?

This set was supplied with the expensive 15708-ss faucet. We have a porcelain sink with some depth to it. There is no "how- to video" for this particular plastic pop-up set, and no dimensioned drawings, at Delta's site as of now. There does not seem to be much threaded back-off on the nut below the gasket above the pop-up fulcrum, to allow for clearing the trap collar and still leaving enough length on the tail piece to engage the trap without having to remove the whole sink. How much stock length can expect to have left to drop back down into the trap collar if the ceramic sink is about 1" thick? ( A longer threaded portion would have made this easy !)

Answer:
Hi Not A Plumber, Thank you for your question. The pop up drain assembly for the model 15708LF-SS faucet will adjust from the bottom of the flange to the mounting nut 1-5/8" to 2-3/8". I have attached the spec sheet for the 15708LF-SS which includes the pop up information.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP41587 does not come as separate parts. If you need the nut from it, the whole pop-up assembly will need to be replaced.

Regarding part item RP41587SS

Manual does on say how tight to tighten plastic nut against gasket on bottom of sink. Is it just hand tightened or do you use a wrench to tighten a bit more to get proper water seal on under side of sink?

Thanks.

Thank you for your question. When tightening nut when using Delta Faucet part # RP41587SS, hand tightening will give you the proper water seal.
