Shower head has constant drip

We just remodeled and installed Delta Celice. The second time we used the shower we were unable to get it to turn completely off - it requires that you hold it down in the off position to get it to stop dripping. As soon as you release the pressure the drip comes back. Do we need a new cartridge? This faucet was installed by a plumber so I do not have the purchase receipt - do I need that for warranty?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP46074 multi-choice cartridge was not available 20 years ago. The cartridge for the 1300/1400 series that you will need is Delta Faucet model # RP19804. Our single handle tub shower handles will fit either cartridge.

What is the minimum water pressure to get a good water flow from this cartridge?

I bought a Nura Monitor® 14 Series Shower to use in my house in Brazil. We have no pressurized water. The cold water comes through gravity from a water tank installed on the roof and the hot water from a heater just bellow the water tank in the attic. I have very low pressure in my shower. Please let me know how can I fix this.

Answer:
generally you need at least 40 psi for this to work properly. I would suggest purchasing a water booster pump.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. You need to have at least 25-35 psi to make this cartridge work correctly. This means that your water tanks need to be at least 60-75 feet off the ground.

We normally recommend the thermostatic cartridge when water pressure is a problem. The model number for the cartridge is RP47201, and if you have a multi-choice valve in your wall, it can be easily switched out.

We do have a representative in Brazil if you would like to contact him directly for more information. His name is Luiz Lunardelli and his email is Luiz.Lunardelli@deltafaucet.com
