Which Delta Pull Out Hose fits? The hole in the new one I bought is much too small.

Customer avatar

Dear Delta,

I bought a replacement Delta Pull-out Hose Assembly (Model # RP44647), but the hole is much too small to fit in the existing faucet.

Please see the attached photo - the old hose is on the left, and it's hole is much larger than the new replacement (on the right).

Is there a different Delta Pull-out Hose (or something else) that might work?

Thanks very much.

Answer:
Hi Taylor, Thank you for your question!
The RP44647 hose assembly is the correct replacement hose. It is possible you have a piece of your old hose still stuck onto the supply nipple. The new hose should slide right over the pipe nipple where the O-ring attaches. If you do not see an O-ring when you look at the pipe nipple , the brass piece at the very end is a part of the old hose. You will need to pull the part off .

Hi Love the magna tite, Thank you for your question!
There is no part number for the hose only. Both the rp62057 and rp50390 dst hose includes the hose clip.

Hi Ray,

Thank you for your question. Below is a link to the maintenance and installation instructions for your faucet. Please see page 7 for reference. To install the new hose, remove the hose clip, disconnect the hose from the faucet, and slide the hose out from above the sink. Then, slide the new hose down through the faucet, connect it under the sink, and attach the clip.

The end of the hose will not come through the faucet shaft. So I cannot remove the shaft to clean and grease the O rings.

Answer:
Hi Agent 007,

Thank you for your question! To remove the hose, first remove the clip from the connection under the sink. Pull down on the hose to slide it off and then pull the hose out from above the sink. Please have a bucket under the sink to catch any residual water in the hose.

Jon
