Delta Monitor®

Bathers should not need to experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in shower water temperature just because a toilet is flushed or a dishwasher or washing machine is turned on. Delta Monitor® faucets are designed to avert these problems.

Delta Monitor faucets feature exclusive pressure balance valves to keep water temperature within a safe ±3° F (±1.6° C), protecting you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure. Anti-scald technology is so crucial that local building codes now require it in new home construction.

Monitor valves also feature an adjustable high-temperature limit stop that when properly set helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort. (Note: this may require seasonal adjustment.)

Note: To protect sensitive skin from water that is too hot, select a faucet that lets you set the maximum water temperature and remember to limit the maximum temperature at your hot water heater.
