WaterSense® Labeled Showerheads, Handshowers and Lavatory Faucets
With showering accounting for approximately 17% of residential indoor water use in the United States, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed standards for water-efficiency in the shower. Delta Faucet is one of the first in the industry to qualify for the WaterSense® program developed by the EPA for showerheads and handshowers.
Delta showerheads and handshowers that meet WaterSense requirements use between 20 and 40% less water than the industry standard (1.5 or 2.0 gpm versus the standard of 2.5 gpm), while our lavatory faucets that meet WaterSense requirements use 32% less (1.5 gpm versus the standard of 2.2gpm). All perform as well or better than their less efficient counterparts.
We take our role as a WaterSense partner very seriously. Delta Faucet Company is committed to working with the EPA to encourage efficient use of water resources and actively protect the future of our nation’s water supply.
WATERSENSE® is a registered mark of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
