WaterSense® Labeled Shower Heads, Hand Showers, Lavatory Faucets and Toilets
With showering accounting for approximately 17% of residential indoor water use in the United States, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed standards for water-efficiency in the shower. Delta Faucet is one of the first in the industry to qualify for the WaterSense® program developed by the EPA for shower heads and hand showers.
Delta shower heads and hand showers that meet WaterSense requirements use between 20 and 40% less water than the industry standard (1.5 or 2.0 gpm versus the standard of 2.5 gpm), while our lavatory faucets that meet WaterSense requirements use 32% less (1.5 gpm versus the standard of 2.2gpm). All perform as well or better than their less efficient counterparts.
Offering you maximum flush power while saving you money, Delta® 1.28gpf WaterSense® labeled toilets are virtually clog-free and offer savings of more than $90/year in reduced water bills.* Delta® toilets rate 10 out of 10 when it comes to flushing power, evacuating over 2 pounds of waste in one flush.**
We take our role as a WaterSense partner very seriously. Delta Faucet Company is committed to working with the EPA to encourage efficient use of water resources and actively protect the future of our nation’s water supply.
WATERSENSE® is a registered mark of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
*EPA estimates that a family of four replacing its home’s older toilets with WaterSense® labeled models will, on average, save more than $90 per year in reduced water utility bills, and over $2,000 over the lifetime of the toilets.
