What material is the Escutcheon made out of? Is it plastic or brass?

I want my shower trim to be metal (brass). I prefer brass handle, shower head and escutcheon. With regards to the Delta Faucet Classic Monitor 13 series are the escutcheons brass or plastic? Which Delta trim series have all metal trim including escutcheons?
Asked by: Kim
Hi Kim, Thank you for your question. The escutcheon plate is metal. All models will have metal parts for the valve trim. The shower head will be non-metallic. Best regards, Jon

how big of a hole do I make in my shower unit wall for the faucet valve to go through

I am replacing my tub with a shower unit made by sterling. it is a 4 piece unit model # 72230100-96
Asked by: Rick
Thank you for your question, Rick. We recommend to use the plaster guard as a guide to cut the hole for the valve. This will give you a 4" x 4" square hole. Technical Specifications for the R10000 valve: Best regards, Jon

Hello, we have a Delta Monitor 13/14 Multi Choice shower set (chrome).  We want to replace it with oil rubbed bronze.  What Delta trim kits can we use to replace our existing w/o having to replace the entire valve?  Is the Delta Porter compatible?

Asked by: Leslie W
Leslie W, Thank you for your question. The Porter 14 Series Trim Kit will work with an R10000 Rough-In Valve or an existing (pre-2006) 1400 series valve with the original cartridge. Best regards, Jon

Does Delta manufacture a diverted control to match the T13291 shower valve?

I would like the handles to match.
Asked by: Mark
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model R11000 is the diverter rough and T11800 for a 3-setting 2-port diverter trim. Please order T11900 for a 6-setting 3-port diverter trim with the same rough-in valve.

Can one change the pressure.  We get one steady stream without ability to soften amount of water coming out.

Asked by: Sibby
Hi Sibby, Thank you for your question. The 13 and 14 Series shower and tub/shower faucets are designed with a steady/constant water pressure flow from the pressure balanced valve cartridge assembly. There is not way of adjusting/changing the pressure of the Delta Classic 1323 Shower faucet. Best regards, Tanya

I would like to change the trim kit on my brass delta monitor shower unit with a chrome unit.

where can I purchase a new chrome trim kit for my 18 year old unit
Asked by: Judy
Judy, thank you for your post! We are excited to hear of your upcoming upgrade with your Delta Faucet shower. On our main page, we have a tab for Where To Buy. This will assist in finding a location close to your area. When shopping, you will want to stick review Delta Faucet model numbers that begin with T13**** or T14****. This will allow you to make the upgrade without having to go behind the wall.

My existing faucets are Series 13 or 14 in chrome. I would like to change to a bronze finish if available.

I recently purchased an existing home and would like to change chrome faucet color to bronze. Any information on available options would be appreciated.
Asked by: Don
Thank you for your question, Don. Models manufactured in Sept. 2006 or later will have a MultiChoice valve, which will allow you to install any current trim kit that we make. 1300/1400 series models made prior to this date (white and blue cartridge) can be upgraded with any 13/14 series trim kit using the original cartridge, or RP19804, instead of the one that comes with the kit. Best regards, Jon
