I have just completed installing this product. Quick question, I slowly turned on the cold water supply first and tested to make sure A: there were no leaks, and B: I was getting water when opening the shower valve. Both scenarios returned a successful result! I then shut off the cold water supply and turned on the hot water supply. Again I wanted to see if A: there were any leaks, and B: I was getting water with the shower valve open. Good news is there were no leaks, bad news is there is no hot water coming out of the shower head when the shower valve is opened at any point. Did I do something wrong or since the shower valve is pressure balanced, perhaps it needs both hot and cold supply turned on to allow hot water to flow? I can't test it too much as I have no shower pan installed and must catch all the water in a bucket.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Tom, Thank you for your question. You are correct that both the hot and cold water supplies must be on for the pressure balanced cartridge in your model 132900 faucet to work properly.

i just had shower kit installed and I only get warm water not hot and stem only turn 1/4 not full 180 so I thought maybe that is why I do not get hot water - ant suggestions?
Hi, Crown Hoch!
Thank you for your question. There is a Rotational Limit Stop (RLS) at the valve cartridge assembly that can be adjusted to get hotter water. Here is a link to our how-to video on how to adjust this RLS.

There are no hole size or hole drilling instructions with the installation book. Please advise. I am installing in a fiberglass shower stall.
I used a 3 inch hole drill after finding the center and then used a vibrating-saw to cut out the escutheon screw holes. You just don't want the hole bigger than the hole of the escutcheon plate.

Can I get an oil rubbed bronze trim for this instead?
I bought this two months ago and installed valve. Now just finishing bathroom project and we changed to oil rubbed bronze at last minute. Can I buy a handle and trim plate in oil rubbed bronze that will screw right to this valve? It doesn't even really matter the style, just the matching color I need. Thanks.
Hi Andy, Thank you for your question. It is actually less expensive to order the entire faucet trim than it would be to order the items individually. In additon to the trim plate/escutcheon and handle you will also need the trim sleeve, screws, and showerhead, arm, and flange. The T14238RB would work for your needs.

what are the instrictions for thin wall mounting #132900 shower faucet
The manual says to see instructions on plastic wrapper. There is no plastic wrapper in the box.
Thank you for your question. The instructions for thin wall mounting are included in the box with the rough-in with the thin wall mount rough-in kit, Delta Faucet model R10000-UNWXBXT. This is usually used when mounting on a fiberglass tub. Here are the instructions from the thin wall mounting bracket which is model RP47202:
1) Insert bracket into plasterguard cutouts and install short screws.
2) Place valve body assembly with thin wall support against back of mounting surface.
3) Place the front wall plate against wall and install self tapping screws. Tighten screws until assembly is secure.

can i get a stainless/brushed nickel trim and handheld showerhead instead?
Pretty much the same question as previous poster Andy. My husband bought this two months ago and did the installation. Now we're finishing the bathroom project and we changed to stainless/brushed nickel fixtures. Can we buy a handle and trim plate in stainless that will screw right to this valve? Also, could we do the same with the replacing the shower head to a handheld shower head? Thank you!
Thanks for your question. You can switch this trim for any 1300 or 1400 series trim without needing to replace the valve. You can use a shower arm mounted hand shower in place of a shower head.

can the water pressure be adjusted? Can the Limiter be removed if there is one
Thank you for your question. The Delta Classic Shower 13200 is not designed with a pressure/volume adjustment. We also would not advised removing the Rotational limit stop, removing it could cause the unit not to work properly.
