Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diverter in down spout is poor This until worked great for 1 year. After that the diverter in the tub spout failed to divert the water to the shower. We've taken the whole unit apart, cleaned it out. Nothing is blocking it. We've YouTube options w no success. No $200 plus product should stop diverting water after a year!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor water output from shower head We bought 2 Delta Nura handheld shower/bathtub faucets for our remodel based on our previous experience with Delta fa ucets. What a disappointment this has turned out to be!!!! They were installed by a professional and no matter what we have tried to do,the water pressure is minimal. There is no blockage and we have plenty of water pressure coming into house. We have adjusted settings with no improvement.Forget about trying to rinse out the bathtub after cleaning it using the handheld. Same with trying to rinse our granddaughters long hair after it is shampooed. This was an EXPENSIVE combo (over $200)and the shower head needs to be replaced and money refunded if it can't be redone somehow.Since its be tiled over,we can't remove shower control handle to take back whole units. HELP!!!!

The shower handle is all the hot and the water coming out of this shower/tub faucet is not hot enough. We have raised the temperature on the water heater which has helped some but results in very hot water coming out of the other faucets in the house.

Asked by: Coacheddie
Coacheddie, Thank you for your question! The maximum temperature can be changed by adjusting the Rotational Limit Stop. Here is a link to our How-To video for help with this: https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page?videoId=n2_uZ7wgV1I We recommend setting your water heater to no more than 110 or 120, depending on your local plumbing codes. How do I remove water saver to increase water pressure?

I just installed this shower head on new renovated bathroom and need more water pressure. We are on well water and this is upstairs bathroom I have removed the water saver washer in previous showers heads in our home which helps. How do I remove the water saver in the 142710-RB-1 shower head?
Asked by: frustrated
Hi Frustrated, Thank you for your question! While it is possible to remove flow restrictors from shower heads, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors for faucets are an integral part of most aerators and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them. Our showering devices are specifically designed to operate most efficiently at the flow rate controlled by the flow restrictor. Removing the flow restrictor from an showering device will result in improper operation and a very uncomfortable experience. For water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to longer meet these codes. Best regards, Brandis

How do I release the hand held show head?

I seems very difficult to release the hand held shower head from the wall mounted unit. Do you have a user's manual as a pdf?
Asked by: Mike
It just pulls out with a firm tug. Personally, I find that if you grab hold of the hand-held part and just use your thumb to push against the main outer shower head, it pops off very easily.

142710-SS-I does universal mean it will work on other branded valves such as Price Pfister or Moen

I am not sure the brand of the current valve in the wall as there are no markings on the handle or exposed plumbing so I want to know if "universal" means that it will fit on all brands. Thank you
Asked by: Dan
Hi Dan, Thank you for your question! The 142710-SS has universal rough in valve body meaning it can be used with any of the multi choice trims we offer. We recommend only using our Delta valves with our Delta trims and do not have any information on if our products will work with other brands. Best regards, Brandis
