How do you release the hand-held portion of this unit?
Asked by: CJ
Hi CJ,
Thank you for your question. The hand shower has a tab that inserts into the top of the showerhead, and then snaps into the showerhead at the base. To remove it, simply pull the hand shower toward you.

Jon

Can I change out to this shower head and sprayer without putting in a new temperature control handle.
I have already purchased the kit but I only want to change out the shower head. The temperature control handle is new, we just did not like our current shower head.
Asked by: Bengi
Hello Bengi, Thank you for your question!
You can change your In2ition shower head without changing the control valve trim. All of our shower heads are interchangeable.

Can you purchase the multi choice universal cartridge for this product?
Asked by: Tina
Hi Tina, Thank you for your question!
The 142984-OB-I includes the cartridge. However, you can order the RP46074 multi choice valve cartridge separately. Below is a link to the part:

Does this come with the valve? Also, can this be configured with a bar?
Asked by: Mo
Hi Mo,
Thank you for your question. This kit will include the rough-in valve. The hand shower portion will work with a slide bar, however, we do not make a slide bar in the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish.

Jon

Keep existing valve?
I am remodeling my bathroom and already have a Delta fixture in my shower. I want to replace the shower head, shower arm, flange, escutcheon, sleeve, and handle. I would like to reuse my valve. Do you offer these as a package? If not, will this product work with my existing valve?
Asked by: Devy
Hi Devy,
Thank you for your question! Any of our shower only trim kits will have these parts included. Models that start with a T (T14, T17, T17T) are trim only and will not include the valve body.
If the original valve was installed prior to September of 2006 you will need to match the series with the original unit. 1300/1400 series valves will work with either T13 or T14, 1700 series showers work with T17 trims. You will need to use the original cartridge, rather than the one in the kit.
Models manufactured after Sept. 2006 will have a MultiChoice Universal Valve, which will accept any trim kit that we currently make.
Best regards,
Jon

I have two questions: Does the shower handle have the extra smaller lever that remembers the water temperature setting after you set it?
Is there a wall mounted tub faucet that matches it?
Thank you,
Linda
Asked by: Linda
Hi Linda,
Thank you for your question! The matching tub spout for this shower is the RP47841OB. However, this unit does not have separate volume and temperature control. The handle will rotate from off, then gradually increased the temperature as you turn it. If you would like a unit that has a temperature and volume control, please click the link below to browse our collection of 17 series tub and showers.
