Hi, I have the single handle m1400 series trim kit with the RP19804 catridge assembly. Which of the newer (last 1-5 years or so) shower/tub trim kits can be used with this? I see that the windmere collection can be used. Is there any other collections?
Thank you for your question, Jettaa72! Any current T13/T14 Multichoice trim kit that uses the RP46074 cartridge will work with an older 1300/1400 series valve body, however you will need to continue using the RP19804 cartridge as the Multichoice cartridge will not fit into an older valve body.
Best regards, Edward

Colors and Cartridges
If I am trying to match this kit with a three way arm diverter and hand shower unit that only come in venetian bronze, how noticeable is the color difference?
Also, my existing delta trim kit is from an unknown year but is a 1400 series model. Will I need to purchase a different cartridge than what the newer 1300 and 1400 series trim kits come with?
Hi OCD Remodeler,
Thank you for your question! The finishes are similar but not quite the same. Venetian Bronze is a dark brown color with copper buff marks throughout the finish. Oil Rubbed Bronze is even darker, almost black, and has the copper color only along the edges.
You can use the new trim with the rough-in for your existing shower using the original cartridge (or RP19804) rather than the cartridge that comes with the kit.

Need to adjust the amount of hot water
The handle will not allow me to actually have hot water. It stops the rotation too soon. I see someone else has asked this question but the link provided does not go to the information I need. Please advise how to adjust the handle so we can actually take a shower with water that is above lukewarm.
Thank you for contacting us! On a new installation you may need to adjust the Rotational Limit Stop from the default setting to get hot water. Please see our How-To Video for adjusting the RLS.

I have a 20 year old Monitor shower faucet but don't know the model.
I want to change to a rubbed bronze finish unit. What new model can I use to accomplish this?
Thank you for your question. The model you have is in the 1500 series. Any Monitor 17 series trim kit that we make should work with your existing valve. However, you will need to purchase an RP32104 cartridge to use instead of the cartridge that comes with the trim kit.

Does this shower valve have a scald protector?
When I turn the water all the way to the hot setting, it gets hot but not as hot as my other shower. We have our hot water heater set very high. I cannot handle the hot full power on my other units. It seems like the water does not get as hot as the heater puts out. Thanks. It is not a problem, I am just curious. We love the controls.
Thank you for your question! The cartridge has a Rotational Limit Stop, which can be adjusted to change the maximum hot setting. Please see the video linked below for help adjusting the RLS.

Regular neck is only 6" I would like an Shower Arm extension or longer arm
Hi Penny, Thank you for your question. The shower arm that you have with your model 142996-OB faucet is the only one offered in the OB oil rubbed bronze finish. We offer a 7" long model RP40593RB in the venetian bronze RB finish that is styled the same as yours. We also have several longer shower arms that will point into the tub at a 90 degree angle. 16" long RP46870RB and RP61273RB, and adjustable from 13" to 22" U6930-RB.
