Is the Olmsted Monitor 14 Series Tub and Shower Model 144717-SP available in CHROME to match Olmsted Lav Faucet Model 35717-ECO-DST?
Also, is this Olmsted Monitor 14 series available for shower only (without tub faucet)?
Thank you for your question, Rob. We do not make an Olmsted tub/shower model in the Chrome finish. However, we do have Chrome models in the similar Dryden collection.

Looking for a handheld shower for Olmsted with matching brushed nickel finish.
We would like a hand shower that matched the brushed nickel finish we chose. Neither the Dryden nor the Ashlyn lines that your expert suggest as the closest match include that finish. We would also like it to integrate with ththe current wall mounted shower head.
Thank you for your question. The closest finish for your Olmsted shower unit is our Brilliance Stainless Steel. The Brilliance Stainless Steel matches the brushed silver that the faucet has. Here is a link to the hand shower units that we have available:

I have purchased this shower/tub set and was wondering what I could purchase to include a handheld diverter in addition to this?
I have purchased this shower/tub set and I was wondering if there was a handheld unit that would match it in venetian bronze? I wanted to add that to my bathroom shower installation s well.
Hi Tina, Thank you for your question. The Olmsted collection does not offer a specific hand shower model. The model 55051-RB hand shower from the Dryden collection and the 55445-RB from the Ashlyn collection coordinate with the square style of the collections.
The R11000 diverter rough, T11851-RB Dryden diverter trim, and 50570-RB wall elbow would be needed to complete the installation.

Olmsted Product #: 144717-SS
Since this product style is only available with a tub spout, I need to know if installed in a tiled shower WITHOUT the tub spout, using ONLY the shower head and hand controller, can the supplied rough-in valve be capped where the line would normally go to the tub spout and used only for the shower without any degradation in performance or leaks. This is critical as the wall will be tiled after installation to accommodate the handle, etc.
Hi Don, Thank you for your question. The model 144717-SS can be installed as a shower only by capping off the tub port on the rough in valve. The connection is a standard 1/2" IPS connection and capping it will not adversely affect the faucet performance.
