Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good! Brand new install and the valve leaks through the faucet when the handle is in the off position. The low flow rate of the faucet is not what I was expecting. The faucet flow rate is less than desirable. It takes more than twenty minutes to fill our soaking tub with hot water. I will say that the unit does look nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from reduced water flow The water seems to come out a LOT less than it did with our last delta shower head. The tub also seems to take twice as long to fill now. Wish I would have read the reviews first.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A brand new Carlisle is leaking??? We purchased a Carlisle 144939-SS-1 at Menards for our bathroom remodel and checked for leaks during rough in and it was fine. Installed the wall board, tile and grout and did the final install and water drips out of the faucet with valve lever all the way off. Needless to say, the water pressure and HOT water is very poor. Everything is adjusted perfectly! I am a certified Journeyman with the United States Dept of Labor and I am very disappointed with this product, and wish I would have chose a different one. I hope delta will step up and help to solve this issue of leaking and send a replacement.

How to pull off the faucet handle after installed?

I can't find the set screw and it all seems connected. My contractor installed in incorrectly and I need to change the RLS....
Asked by: Evan
Dear Evan, Thank you for your inquiry! The handle of the Delta Carlisle Tub and Shower 144939-SS-I faucet, has a set screw in the hole right below where the lever sticks out. You would need either a 1/8" or 3/32 Allen wrench to unscrew the set screw. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/142939-I_144939-I__64601_Rev_A.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Does this unit have a plastic nut that connects the showerhead to the shower arm (water supply), or is it metal? If it is in fact plastic, are there any in2ition units that have a metal nut?

How do you change the set rotation on the faucet from off to hot? Can you change where the 120 degrees start and finish?

The handle does not go far enough on the top end to get hot water out. Is there a way to change the rotation of the handle so instead of going from right to 120 degree rotation to change it say straight up to 120 degrees down? I have tried to rotate the silver plastic ring but it only sits a certain way into the housing.
Asked by: Micahel
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 144939-SS-I contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Included here are the maintenance and installations instructions to adjust the limit stop. The directions are on page 8. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t14230-pblhp.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper

Tub and Shower for just Shower

We really like this faucet but we are looking for a shower only system. Can this be used as a shower only faucet by just putting a cap on the bottom of the operating valve or can it just be used as a tub and shower?
Asked by: noresull
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 144939-SS-I can be used as a shower only if you cap off the tub port.
