Rated 2 out of 5 by from A brand new Carlisle is leaking??? We purchased a Carlisle 144939-SS-1 at Menards for our bathroom remodel and checked for leaks during rough in and it was fine. Installed the wall board, tile and grout and did the final install and water drips out of the faucet with valve lever all the way off. Needless to say, the water pressure and HOT water is very poor. Everything is adjusted perfectly! I am a certified Journeyman with the United States Dept of Labor and I am very disappointed with this product, and wish I would have chose a different one. I hope delta will step up and help to solve this issue of leaking and send a replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed Very frustrated with Carlisle tub spout, product is brand new, and continues to leak in my new bathroom. I hope I don't have to take all of the products out and return them, I am very busy, and was not expecting to have this issue with a Delta product. If there is any assistance that you can give for a brand new faucet to leak up against the tile and spout would be greatly appreciated. I had to estimate, the amout of leaking, at first I thought I was imagining, the water, but soaking a washcloth. Disappointed:{

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed severely reduced water pressure Recently replaced older tub shower set with this item and have been disappointed. Had plumber install and shower leaks at shower arm and shower head connection. Plumber attached and reattached several times still continues to leak. There is a drastic difference of water pressure between older facet set and this one. Water barely comes out of shower head enough to actually shower. Plumbing believe it is the design of the facet to manage pressure. If true does not manage pressure,it reduces the pressure. Have have lumber come out one. Ore time to see if there is something that cam be done with the shower leak. It is not like we can return this now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Classically beautiful, functionally frustrating This faucet fit the restyled design of our bathroom, matching quite nicely with our super deep soaker tub and beautiful tumbled, multi-coloured marble.That being said, we didn't realize that buying a scald protection faucet would mean less hot water for showers and baths. We've since adjusted the hot water flow to the highest possible point and yes, that does mean we run the risk of scalding if we aren't careful; but this was the only way to get enough hot water for one adult shower. Would have loved this faucet and given it 5 stars across the board had the mixing valve not given us so much trouble.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the 2 part I really like the way the two pieces work together. Purchased at Lowes on sale. Great value compared to other brands. Has made me a big fan of Delta. I did not have a preference before. Delta will be my brand from now on.

What is the model number for the diverter trim only? I already have the shower head.

Asked by: Donna
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 144939-I can be broken down into separate parts, but it may be more cost effective to purchase the whole thing and then use the showerhead somewhere else. Included here is the parts breakdown for the model. You will need everything individually except the showerhead. You will also need to purchase the rough-in valve which is Delta Faucet model R10000-UNBX.

connecting nut

Does this unit have a plastic nut that connects the showerhead to the shower arm (water supply), or is it metal? If it is in fact plastic, are there any in2ition units that have a metal nut?

How to pull off the faucet handle after installed?

I can't find the set screw and it all seems connected. My contractor installed in incorrectly and I need to change the RLS....
Asked by: Evan
Dear Evan, Thank you for your inquiry! The handle of the Delta Carlisle Tub and Shower 144939-SS-I faucet, has a set screw in the hole right below where the lever sticks out. You would need either a 1/8" or 3/32 Allen wrench to unscrew the set screw. Best regards, Tanya

How do you change the set rotation on the faucet from off to hot? Can you change where the 120 degrees start and finish?

The handle does not go far enough on the top end to get hot water out. Is there a way to change the rotation of the handle so instead of going from right to 120 degree rotation to change it say straight up to 120 degrees down? I have tried to rotate the silver plastic ring but it only sits a certain way into the housing.
Asked by: Micahel
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 144939-SS-I contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Included here are the maintenance and installations instructions to adjust the limit stop. The directions are on page 8.
