Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good variety of products Installed all new Delta fixtures in the house and within 2 months the diverter on the tub spout broke . Called Delta and they replaced it without any problems . Shipped my new diverter and got it 3 days later. All other products work great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Directions could have been better, Would have given 4 stars as overall good is quality but directions were not. Directions indicated do not use plastic pex line to the tub spout. I used flexible braided line to ease in any future change outs which is NOT pex. This did not work you need to use solid copper to the tub spout this took many frustrating hours to figure out. Directions should have been clearer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard Water Stains Will Ruin It After 5 years in service the hard water stains have ruined the bronze finish. Extremely difficult to maintain. It seems to me that you have to clean it after each use. Do not recommend the -OB model. Will change to the chrome finish for ease of installation. We'll see if that fairs the hard water better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I have moved in my new home and I used this faucet in both bathrooms. One box was missing a part but i called and they mailed the part and I received it the next day and it was very easy to speak to them and get what o needed with no interrogation. So far they are great and I love them!

I've just installed a 144996-OB. After adjusting the water heater to it's highest setting, kitchen faucet 138, 35' away, Lavatory 120, adjacent Windemere shower head 90 adjusted all the way up. Are there internal adjustments?

Asked by: Don R
Hi, Don R! Thank you for your question. The 144996-OB does have a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted to get hotter water. Here is a how-to video on how to adjust the rotational limit stop for your faucet: https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page-1?videoId=n2_uZ7wgV1I Best Regards, Rosanna

Removing the wall spout

I need some confirmation about our wall spout that came with this set. The original wall spout has been corroded by the hard water and I want to replace it. There is a replacement wall spout available, Model # RP61357OB, that seems to match the one we already have. The installation instructions from your website list three possible ways to install the wall spout. We did not install it but rather a plumber when we had the shower\tub redone so I am not sure how exactly it was done. There is a notch on the underside where it meets the wall, I was able to use my phone camera to get a picture from underneath, looking up (See attachment). It appears that there is no set screw. Can you confirm that I should be able to see one in the picture if there was one? I tried to unscrew the spout by turning counter clock wise with gradual force but not too hard of a force. It would not move. I do not want to damage the copper pipe if I can help it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Asked by: Robert S.
Hi, Robert S., Thank you for your question. The RP61357OB is the tub spout that comes with the 144996-OB unit. The tub spout does not have a set screw. The tub spout threads into a 1/2" IPS nipple or 1/2" C.W.T. Best Regards, Rosanna

Difference between BT-14496-OB and 14496-OB

I noticed that the only difference seems to be that the 14496-OB that comes from Lowes includes a Dual Function Pressure-Balanced Valve Cartridge and the other includes a Single Function Pressure-Balanced Valve Cartridge but when I look at the parts list for both products the valve cartridges are the same (RP46074). Can you please help me understand and explain the differences between the two products?
Asked by: Dave
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question! Both units take the same valve cartridge. The difference is the BT14496-OB is the trim only and the 14496-OB includes the valve body. Best regards, Brandis

Copper sweat installation for tub spout

I am upgrading our bathroom. The older model was the T13420-PBSHCPD. Everything seems to be just fine except the tub spout pipe is copper sweat and my new tub spout doesn't fit. Is there an attachment I can buy to make this fit?
Asked by: swtjen01
2015-01-29 (I do not work for Delta, just installed my first Delta product ever). You need a plumber to redo the adapter for the perfect fit, or unscrew the old fitting and screw on one that you can make.

Is there an on/off control for the showerhead.

My 144996-OB was installed in May of this year during a bath remodeling project that I hired out. Ever since it was put in, the showerhead begins to leak almost immediately after the faucet is turned on. I would like to install an on/off control behind the showerhead to prevent this problem if at all possible. Please advise as to whether this is do-able and if so how I can obtain the item I need.

2015-01-29 (I don't work for Delta, just installed my first Delta product ever). Check to see if the spout push/pull is engaging / releasing. Sounds like it's hanging up. That blocks the spout water flow and causes the shower head to engage.

I am replacing a tub spout (similar to RP17453) with the windmere tub trim; however, the older tub spout has a rear thread adapter.

Do you sell an adapter to convert the rear threaded adapter to a front threaded? How can I install the windemere tub spout with the existing adapter?
Asked by: PG
2015-01-29 (I do not work for delta, just installed my first Delta product ever) I see from your picture that the compression adapter is threaded onto a fitting on the wall pipe. Dig out (if needed) and hold the wall pipe while you unscrew the compression adapter. Then replace with an appropriate length and thread adapter for the new spout. You might want to use a small rubber strap wrench to hold the pipe so that it won't knick or scar (leaks).

tub drain and over flow cover

Windemere Monitor 14 series tub and shower, if this is for tub and shower, where is the matching tub drain and tub overflow cover?
Asked by: Pops
Yes and yes. Easy to install push fill / drain tub control is part of a color matched set.

Convert for slip on spout

I have a slip on copper pipe. Is it possible to convert this model to a slip on style? Is there an insert for it? there appears to be place to access a set-screw, but my box did not come with a set screw or a sleeve for slip on application.
Asked by: Deltaninil
Hi Deltaninil, Thank you for your question. We do not offer an adapter to convert the RP63157 from a threaded to slip on connection. A comparable slip on spout to the RP61357 that comes in the model 144996-BN faucet is the RP64721SS. Thanks, Dave
