Tub Spout Removal

Model 1455 Part RP34357 When the water is running, a small amount of water flows from what appears to be a small drain hole at the bottom of the tub spout, next to the wall. If this is NOT normal, how is the tub spout removed to effect repairs?
Asked by: Andy
Hi Andy, Thank you for your question. Water should not be running from the weep hole at the back of the spout. The tub spout screws onto an adapter, it should unscrew in a counter-clockwise direction. Thanks, Dave
