Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time and water saver! I have 3 of these lavatory faucets and one Touch2O kitchen faucet in my house. They are all very handy and the touch operation saves time and water. They were easy to install - good installation instructions. There is one characteristic of these faucets that I experience with each use: water hammer. When the water is touched off there is a "thud" sound from the solenoid. My water pressure to my house is 53 psi. The faucets are on 3 different levels. At the ground level the thud is very loud. The middle level is gentler. The top level is very soft. I attempted to eliminate the very loud thud at the ground level by installing water hammer arresters on the hot and cold supply lines. Unfortunately they made no difference. I am concerned about the noise and that over time the solenoids might wear out. This is the only issue I have with the Touch2O technology. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Overall, I am very happy with my faucets!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from love the look had iniatial problems with one of the four taps one of the touch taps stopped working after the third day. after numerous calls we found out that you can not bypass the selenoid and have it just work as a tap. with no touch feature. it is either working with the touch or not at all. poor engineering that??? new selenoid ordered . arrived after weeks. long time for part. now installed and working.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor design, overpriced I bought this to replace a ten year old Delta bathroom sink faucet. The old fixture, although well designed, still had some features of a movie prop. Instead of the water actually flowing through the cast metal spout, it actually traveled through a copper tube that ran inside the metal spout. The feed tubes to the fixture were also copper with brazed on threaded fittings. This new Touch2O fixture is inferior in these respects: now the tube inside the prop spout and the feed tubes are plastic PEX tubing. Although approved for drinking water use everywhere, PEX is much cheaper than copper, and seems not nearly as substantial. The single threaded rod that anchors the fixture to the sink is attached by being screwed into a split cast boss on the bottom of the fixture. Incomprehensible to me why this rod wasn't cast into the metal fixture. As a result, when I tightened the rod to secure the fixture, the rod pulled out of the casting. Very poor design. A simple fix would be to add a nut to the rod above the lower part of the fixture thereby transferring the downward pull on to the lower part where it would hold very securely. The Touch2O mechanism works well - very clever, but a bit of a kluge. Seems almost like a prototype with wires and tubes going everywhere; a bit disorganized. The wires could become fouled with the drain mechanism. The battery pack is square and offers little area on which to stick the Velcro. In fact, the Velcro doesn't stay attached to the pack and easily pulls off when grasping the pack. The pack should be four AA cells long with a larger flat area on which to stick the Velcro. All things considered, this model is overpriced, considering the nature of the materials. This review may not be relevant to those who have this professionally installed, but be advised you're not really getting the quality and designed present in earlier Delta fixtures.

how do you use this with the 3 holes?

Asked by: vickievt
Hi, Vickievt! Thank you for your question. The 15960T-SS-DST does include an escutcheon plate that does cover 4" installation holes. Best Regards, Rosanna

does Talbott single handle lavatory faucet come without touch20 technology?

we like the talbott but do not want touch20 technology
Asked by: ed
Thank you for your question. At this time, we do not manufacture a non-touch faucet in the Talbott series. We do manufacture several other series of the kind of faucet that are non-touch. We can recommend you look at the Vero, Arzo, Dryden, Victorian, Cassidy, Addison, Compel, and Lahara series just to name a few.
