Is volume level adjustable such as low flow or medium flow, etc.?

Asked by: chocogurl
Hi, Chocogurl! Thank you for your question. The small handle adjusts the temperature, while the bigger handle in the back turns on and off the water and does adjust the volume. You will be able to adjust from low, to medium, to full force. Best Regards, Rosanna

Will this work with a delta monitor 17 series from 2001

Asked by: Chris
Hi, Chris! Thank you for your question. Yes, this will work with an older Monitor 17 series unit from 2001. You will need to use the original cartridge that is in your current valve instead of the cartridge that comes with the new trim kit. Best Regards, Rosanna

Need to stop a drip in Lahara tub faucet. Need exact instructions.

Exactly how do I change a washer/cartridge (I suppose this is what needs to be done!) in a Lahara tub faucet. We are beginning to lose a lot of water through the continuing drip. Thank you for any advice.
Asked by: Ann
Dear Ann, Thank you for your question. Based on your description, If your faucet is just dripping from the spout, then I would suggest replacing the RP46073 adapter seals. If the leak persists, then the RP46463 cartridge assembly will need to be replaced. Once you have the new parts, you can follow these steps below to repair your shower faucet. Before you begin, make sure that you first shut off the faucet's water supply. 1. Remove the handle. First, remove the temperature control knob cover. Depending on when your faucet was manufactured, the cover will be removed in one of two ways. You will be able to either "pop" it off of the temperature control knob by prying it off with a small screwdriver, or you will be able to slide it downward, in the opposite direction of the "pointed" end of the cover. Once the cover has been removed, you will be able to see the temperature control knob. It is held on with a screw. Unscrew the screw to remove the temperature control knob. You can then slide off the volume handle and trim sleeve. 2. You should now be able to see the bonnet. This is a round brass nut. You should be able to unscrew the bonnet by turning it counterclockwise by hand. If it has never before been removed, it may be very tight, however. Wrap a cloth around it to protect the finish and use a pair of channel locks to give you some extra leverage. Be careful that the entire valve does not start to turn as you are trying to unscrew the bonnet. This will break the copper supply tubes behind the valve, which will require the faucet to be replaced. 3. Once the bonnet has been removed, you can grasp the cartridge stem (to which the handle was attached) and pull the cartridge assembly straight out of the brass valve body. 4. You will then see the old adapter assembly. Remove the Phillips head screw and remove the old adapter assembly. 5. Turn both the hot and cold water back on for 5 to 10 seconds to flush out the valve body. 6. Slide new adapter assembly in place and tighten up the Phillips head screw. Remove the black plastic holder for the adapter assembly. 7. Reinstall the cartridge, screw the bonnet back into place, and reattach the handle and other trim components. You can now turn the water supply on and test your faucet. Best Regards, Tanya
