Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny I have had this for about 2 years now and has worked just great. But recently one of the rubber nipples on the head developed a leak/crack. So I contacted Delta about the limited life time warranty to see if this was covered and within 10 days there was a new one sitting at the front door when I got home. I still would buy this again if I needed one for another bathroom and with there customer service I will definitely be purchasing Delta products when the need arises in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shower head! This is the neatest idea that solves the problem of the desire to have 2 showerheads one fixed and also has a hand shower without having to undergo an expensive bathroom remodel. Even when you remove the handheld from its place, there's still enough water spray to rinse out your hair. We love this product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The spray nozzles are too sparse for a consistent spray pattern. This product is just "OK" if you're looking for a so-so-shower head. But for a Delta product, we are very disappointed. We chose this model for the detachable spray head, but found the nozzle pattern left gaps when use together as one. Oh, the concentrated flow of the center choice is great for rinsing my long hair, but the lever that switches between that and the entire hand-held portion is awkward and very difficult to operate, soapy hands or no. All that turned out to be but drops in a bucket when, within a year of the plumber's installation, the dripping started. Foolish enough to forget to release the hand-held section and dangle it into the tub,We were forced to listen to it dripping...dripping...dripping...in an incessant plea for attention, day or night. We wrote, and received a replacement inner-part, and the leak has stopped, but not before our love of your fixture has gone forever. We may never have faith in a Delta product again. Too bad really, there are so few things left to have faith in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like features, but can't run all at one time due to 2.5 flow rate. Installed by contractor. Like most of the features. Sometimes the removable wand is hard to remove, but it stays in place. Wife says the hose is to stiff and the wand won't stay in the position you lay it down in as she washes her hair. I'm on a well so the pressure isn't that great at the head to run all the features at once such as the the head, hand held and massage. After being installed I read several reviews that the swivel that screws onto the pipe will break with heavy use. Plastic would not be my choice at that connection. We'll see how long ti last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All the features needed in one product. Better than expected from other reviews that I read. Sure it has plastic, but so do most other removable shower handles. It has a good look and function. Water control handle is easy to use.

We loved our delta in2ition shower head however today after many years of use the plastic piece that connects to the shower head broke off. I can't seem to find any replacement parts.

What is the rough-in valve connection type?

Is the connection to the supply lines/shower riser/tub spout sweat/compression/or ? Is the elbow for the shower arm and/or tub spout included? There are several options shown for the tub spout connection. Do they vary by model, or can you choose your preference? What are the standard measurements for distances between: A. The faucet and the top of the tub B. The faucet and the valve C. The valve and the shower head or D. The shower head and the base of the tub
Asked by: Michaelj
All of this depends on the existing piping, if you are replacing an old fixture. But if it is a new install you can make it what you choose.

extension kit?

my plumber installed this faucet and it was installed too deep into the wall so now the handle rubs against the plate and not only that... there's a drip in the faucet already!!! i'm told i can get some kind of "extension kit"? if so, what is the model number? thanks.

I bought one of these a few years ago for a different shower that I had a similar issue with. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/rp6023.html

Can the water volume be increased?

The total water volume on this valve seems lower than our old valve (the tub takes longer to fill). It's probably about normal now--the old valve was faster than any other tub I've seen. The instructions explain how to set the water temp, but do not refer to a volume adjustment. The volume lever rotates ~90 degrees. Can that be increased? If so, how?
Asked by: Michaelj
There's probably a restricter inside that reduces the flow of water to conserve resources. However, we have noticed that this restriction is too severe and have had to take them out. After that, all's well! We are always resource conscious anyway on our own.

What diverter valve goes with this?

We also want a rain shower in addition to the shower head and tub spout. What diverter valve can go with this that will match close enough? Our finish is brushed nickel. Lowe's and Home Depot do not carry these type of diverter valves, just the ones that connect on the shower head itself. We want it to be 'roughed in'.
Asked by: Shelley
Probably the closest match (in my personal opinion) is the Linden, model # T11894, and you will need the valve as well which is R11000. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/t11894-ss.html

Does this kit include the rough-in valve?

If not, what more is needed for a complete installation?
Asked by: Michaelj
No, you need a universal valve R10000. You can select which particular model based on your connection type (sweat, threaded, PEX)
