Is the Leland faucet made of plastic or metal? If it is part plastic, which parts are plastic?

Asked by: josie1
Thank you for your inquiry, Josie1! The Delta Leland Lavatory 17579-SS-DST faucet model has a solid brass fabricated valve body. This faucet comes with a ceramic DIAMOND™ Seal Valve cartridge and has 3/8" O.D. compression fittings and stagger PEX supply lines. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-579-DST.pdf Best regards, Tanya

how do you change the filter?

Asked by: Pam
Thank you for your question. I am not sure what you mean by the filter but I think you mean the aerator. There should have a been a wrench included in your box to remove the aerator for cleaning. If your wrench is missing, the replacement is model # RP52217 and be ordered and purchased from your local retailer or wholesaler. If you need to replace the aerator, it is model # RP54977.

Will the Leland faucet work with a vessel sink?

Asked by: dinomogwai
Hi Dinomogwai, Thank you for your question. The Leland model 17579-SS-DST comes with a 6" riser. This places the aerator approximately 8" above the deck/countertop. If your vessel bowl is shorter than that, this faucet should work. Thanks, Dave
