Is this product (and its parts) manufactured in the United States? Are the internal faucet parts metal or plastic?
I've heard that some of the faucets sold at big box stores have plastic parts inside, but the faucets sold at plumbing supply or kitchen/bath retailers have metal parts for the same faucet. Is this accurate or would the product numbers be different?
Thank you for your question. We appreciate your interest in Delta faucets. We manufacture Delta faucets in our plant facilities in Greensburg, Indiana; Jackson, Tennessee; London, Ontario, CA and Panyu, China. As a global manufacturer, we also source and assemble a number of parts around the world. No matter where in the world our products are sourced, manufactured or assembled, they are built to Delta Faucet Company’s exacting specifications and are quality tested to ensure long-lasting performance.
The back or bottom of the box will tell you where your specific faucet model was made. As our models may be made in different locations depending on available resources, there is not a list saying where each is made.
All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Delta retail dealers usually sell faucets that include the handles in the boxes. Plumbing professionals and Delta Studio Showrooms sell faucets where the faucets and handles are packaged and sold separately ("LHP" models), giving the customer some additional styling choices. However, the quality of all Delta faucets is the same.
