Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice faucet, attractive. Needs covers for screw holes in handles. We bought this faucet to replace a 10+ year old one (different brand) in our second bathroom that had begun to fail. We liked the appearance of this model and it looks very nice in our bath. It works well, too. Our only complaint is that the small holes that hold the Allen screws that mount the handles to the fixture are not covered. This detracts from the appearance of the faucet. Not a deal-killer, but a minor annoyance. We didn't notice it in the store when we purchased the faucet. Other faucets have some sort of cover for this kind of hole and I am surprised that Delta did not include something like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice faucet Stainless finish cleans nicely great sized faucet for a pedestal sink. Anything larger would be too large for a pedestal. Cleans nicely also.

2578LFRB-278RB with sink without overflow

I purchased item 2578LFRB-278RB and was installing it in a cultured marble sink without an overflow. The drain has overflow holes. Is it safe to install this drain in the sink with no overflow?
Asked by: Jason
Hi Jason, Thank you for your question. You will not want to use the pop up drain assembly from the model 2578LFRB-278RB faucet on a sink without an overflow. The water from the drain could potentially leak out. You will want to go with a no overflow drain assembly. Thanks, Dave

Are porcelain lever handles available for this faucet?

Hi, The Leland Shower/Tub faucet has the option of a porcelain handle, which I like and plan to get. I'd like to get this Leland sink faucet as well, but I want porcelain lever handles that say HOT and COLD on them. Do you have such handles? Please consider making some, if not.
Asked by: Brian
Thank you for your question. There are porcelain lever handles available for this faucet with Delta Faucet model # H277. However, they do not say Hot and Cold on the handles. We will pass along your recommendation to our marketing department.

Removing aerator

I recently purchased a house with these faucets installed. The water here is kind of hard so there are hard water deposits in the aerator after 6 years of use. Is there an easy way to remove the aerator? I've tried soaking in white vinegar and WD40. The problem is getting a grip on the small outer ring of the aerator. I'm afraid of damaging the sink with pliers and a rag.
Asked by: Jason
Thank you for your question. Removing the aerator can be difficult sometimes because mineral deposits can get built up inside. We recommend soaking a cloth in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water and then wrapping it around the aerator to soak overnight. You may also try a channel strap wrench to remove the peice.
