Model 2711 pin question

If the anti swile pin was part of the faucet which I have removed and is no longer a barrier for a new trim kit, can I now use the other roman tub options on my 2711? Chester from Delta said it was no longer a problem, I want to confirm this to be true before purchasing a trim kit.

Dear Leif, Thank you for your question. If your Delta 2711 Roman tub faucet had a swivel pin and had a set screw in the back of the spout assembly, you can replace the trim with the model T2710. This would be the only spout trim that would cover the old swivel pin hole in the deck. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T2710 Best regards, Tanya

Where can I get a replacement faucet for my original polished brass 2711-pb? (I want to stay with the brass finish)

Asked by: Bob
Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the model 2711-PB is discontinued and no longer available. The only roman tub faucet trim that we offer in a polished brass finish is the T2755-PBLHP H612PB in our Victorian collection. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/t2755-pblhp%20h612pb.html Thanks, Dave

We have the 2711 faucet on our whirlpool tub. I bought the BT2710 trim so i could change from brass to chrome finishes.

Now my plumber is saying that the spout can't go on without changing the valve underneath the tub, because he thinks original spout screws onto the valve and the new spout isn't threaded. Does this sound legit to you? I don't see that he has actually removed the old spout so I don't know what is underneath. Assuming he is correct, is there some kind of adapter we could use that would screw onto the valve, yet allow the new spout to slip on? Thanks.
Asked by: Kate
Hi Kate, Thank you for your question. The model 2711-PB would have come with a rough in valve capable of accepting the new roman tub trims. If your current tub spout has a set screw on the back side of the spout in most cases the new trims will fit the older rough. Please remove your current spout by loosening the set screw and compare the spout connection to the R2707 rough. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/r2707.html If this matches your existing spout rough in the new roman tub trims will work on your rough in. The plumber is correct that if the spout threads onto the connection you will need a new rough in valve as well. Thanks, Dave

What type of trim kits will fit our 2711 faucet? A different style would be preferred and in a nickel finish.

Asked by: Jeffacr
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 2711 contained an anti-swivel pin that may or may not have been used. You will need to take off the spout to see if it was used. If you see the anti-swivel pin, then you can only replace it with the T2710 model and it only is available in chrome. If there is no anti-swivel pin, then you can use any of our roman tub trims.

Need a shower adaptor for #2711

Need to replace the spout stream part with something I can adapt a shower wand to. It appears to be larger than most (about 1" diameter) Do you have something that will work?

Thank you for your question. We do not manufacture anything that you can add onto the actual roman tub spout of your Delta Faucet model # 2711. However, we do manufacture a hand-held sprayer that can be added to your existing faucet with a couple of holes. Delta Faucet model # RP14979 includes a transfer valve to divert the water from your roman tub to the hand-held shower that is included. It does require a 2-hole installation.
