I'm installing a new sink, how do I de-couple the "quick connect" fittings.

Delta Dryden 3551 I found the install instructions. The instructions say once the fitting snaps together pull on it to insure it's set properly. For disassembly I remove the outer clips and pull to separate from the tube but it seems like there is another step required to separate the fitting.

Dear Jim, Thank you for your question. To remove the quick connect hose assembly, simply squeeze the lower half of the two black/gray plastic clips together. The top halves of the clips will then open up, like a claw. Next pull down on the hose assembly to remove it. Best regards, Tanya

loose copper spout tube

I am installing a 3551 faucet and the copper spout tube is free to rotate. Is this normal or does it mean that it will leak? (The counter top is not yet installed on the vanity). Thanks Hugh
Asked by: Hugh
Hi Hugh, Thank you for your question. The copper tube on the spout of this particular model does swivel. It will not affect the performance of the spout. The way the tube is attached in the manufacturing process allows it to move. Thanks, Dave
